Interview With Ava Grace Cooper | When Calls The Heart Season Seven

Mercy: Can you share a little of what you've been up to since we last chatted?
Ava: Hi Mercy! Well I have been quite busy with filming this past year so it has been a lot of fun. I’ve had a lot of really fun roles with different movies. I have also been quite busy with my dancing as well. I was in competitive jazz and hip-hop this year, as well as my ballet, so it has been keeping me busy which I love.

Mercy: What has been your favorite scene so far of season 7 of When Calls The Heart?
Ava: I think my favourite scenes of season 7 were when Mrs. Thornton and some of the Hope Valley kids got caught in the storm. Working with the big fans that created all of that wind was fun because I felt like I was going to be blown away! Haha

Mercy: What do you like to do on set in your free time?
Ava: In my free time on set I like spending time with the cast kids playing games and going to crafty for all the good snacks.

Mercy: If you could play any role in any movie from the past, who would it be?
Ava: If I could play any role in a movie from the past I would love to play Elizabeth Swan in Pirates of the Caribbean because she is very brave and strong character and I really like that.

Mercy: Who are some of your acting influences?
Ava: Some of my acting influences would definitely be the cast from When Calls The Heart. I am pretty much growing up on this series and have been on it since I was 6 years old. It’s so great to have so many amazing role models.

Mercy: What do you like to do in your free time?
Ava: In my free time I love dancing, singing, and playing soccer. I also love spending time with my family and friends. I have been dancing since I was 2 years old, singing since I could talk, and playing soccer since I was 5 years old. 😊

Mercy: Do you attend school when not onset or are you homeschooled/tutored?
Ava: When I’m not on set and in tutoring, I attend a public school. It seems to work really well for me. Right now everything is online for us because of the COVID. I think it has been a pretty easy transition to online because of the many years of set tutoring.

Mercy: Any upcoming projects you can share about?
Ava: Well, I just finished a couple of really fun projects. One I can’t talk about yet, the other is called, When Time Got Louder. The cast was so amazing to work with and I can wait for you to see these. I will be sure to keep you posted!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child
