Church People Releases Today

Hey All!

I am so excited to share this new movie with you!! Church People releases today, and I was pleasantly impressed. Church People, a hilarious new comedy starring Stephen Baldwin, Christian comedian Thor Ramsey, and Hallmark's Erin Cahill.

"Weary from the showiness and materialism that has overtaken his ministry efforts, Guy (Ramsey) goes on a journey to get back in touch with the heart of ministry and be a real role model to his youth group kids. He makes the difficult decision to cut short his speaking tour managed by his money-focused agent (Faison) after realizing that his reputation has become more fame-based than Gospel-driven.

But when Guy attempts to return to regular youth ministry, he is thrust into the throes of dissuading the youth group from performing a strange and potentially blasphemous stunt for the upcoming Easter service, starring a young, zealous new believer, Blaise. In attempting to manage his youth group while navigating an unexpected love interest in the Senior Pastor’s daughter (Cahill) and being a new father to his grown daughter (Manfredi), Guy ultimately rediscovers and puts on a powerful presentation of why we all need to put our hope in Jesus and not in ourselves."

I honestly was not sure if I would enjoy the film or not, but...I liked it enough that I shared with my husband and he liked it too!! Not my type of music and I think there was one conversation I really did not think was necessary, but I am still recommending you see Church People. You will laugh and have fun, but don't miss the important message this movie is getting across.

Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age. And it works! Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life. Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words. Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was.
