Raccoons, Rodents and Other Pests

Hey neighbors!! How many of you have experienced some type of pest, whether they be fur covered or of the insect kind?  We have been married 38 years soon, and have had a few experiences that I would love to forget. Shortly after we married we rented a cute little apartment on a canal in Florida.  It was only three apartments, and the manager lived in one.  It was raised because of being on the canal, so we were technically on the second floor.  We had a beautiful back deck where we could sit and watch the sunset, enjoy a cookout, or even fish.  Our neighbors owned a large black cat, and one night when the husband went out on the deck to bring the kitty in, he almost grabbed a rat instead.  Fortunately, since we were renting the manager immediately had someone come out and take care of the problem. Our next experience was while my husband was in the military.  We were stationed in Ft. Walton Beach,  FL and since our second daughter had just been born, we looked for a home
