Find out how long this will take them from start to finish. Map out deliveries and production so that those days are freed up. Have as many employees as you can be available to pack boxes and organize them for the movers to take.
Communicate With Your Team
Keep everyone on the same page as things develop with the move. Give them due dates to have their personal items secured away. Ask them to take their belongings home for the time being until you are in the new building. If there is a change in the schedule, make sure you let your team know as soon as possible.
Announce Your Move

Change your address on all your materials you hand out as well as your website, social media, and other internet listings. Work From Home
Arrange for your employees to work at home if the move will take some time. Be sure that your servers are one of the first items operational at the new location and that your staff can hook up to them. Reach out to them to see if they need anything while they are away. If they are available, have them meet you at the new building. They can help the set up progress quicker.
