Interview With Kaley Thompson

Mercy: Can you share a little bit about yourself?
Kaley: I am wife to Bubba, mother to Andie Faith and a soon-to-be baby boy. I am very family-oriented, hard-working and probably one of the most laid-back people you can meet.

Mercy: Can you share a little bit about the upcoming season of The Cowboy Way?
Kaley: Season 6 will be exciting and different than all past seasons. I think viewers will be very invested.

Mercy: What has been your favorite scene to film?
Kaley: My favorite scene to film was when I had Andie Faith. The footage of that evening is something I cherish so much. There is also a scene in Season 6 that I can’t go into detail on, but it’s also a favorite scene. You’ll know when you see it ;)

Mercy: Any favorite behind-the-scene stories you can share from on-set of The Cowboy Way?
Kaley: Behind-the-scenes are fun because we all just cut up and joke around a lot. Don’t get me wrong; family scenes are great. However, when we do things as a whole group its always entertaining on and off the camera.

Mercy: What do you like to do most in your free time?
Kaley: NOTHING! Seriously, I feel like I have an obligation
24/7, whether that be work related or being a mother/wife. If I ever do get free time, I choose to do
absolutely nothing. I will sit on the couch and watch TV or read.

Mercy: What are three things you can’t live without?
Kaley: Faith, Family and Coffee!

Mercy: If you could sit down and have a conversation with one person, living or dead; who would it be?
Kaley: This is so weird, but I would LOVE to talk with some of the Secret Service staff. The details of their job and how articulate they have to be fascinates me. I have watched documentaries on everything that goes into their job, and every time I’m left with a million questions.

Mercy: What does your perfect Sunday afternoon look like?
Kaley: I’d like to sleep in a little but still wake up before Andie to enjoy a good glass of coffee in peace and quiet. I’d spend the rest of the day playing outside,
and I would cook a good Sunday meal that we could all enjoy as a family.

Mercy: Any other upcoming projects you can share about?
Kaley: Right now most projects are on a temporary hold
for us. Our son is due any day, so our main focus is adjusting from a family of 3 to 4 and finding our new normal.

Mercy:  What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
Kaley: Although I am extremely laid-back on most things, I am also very straightforward. I believe in black and white truths and zero gray areas in all aspects of life.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.
