Whirly Board - Fun and Fitness Holiday Gift!

Hey, y'all!

How many of you have ever heard of a Whirly Board? I never had until recently, and it's such a neat product! This is a holiday gift that would be just as perfect for the 30-year-old fitness nut as it would a teenager because it has such an abundance of uses...but I'm getting ahead of myself here!

We received a Whirly Board for review and we were excited to give it a whirl (sorry, couldn't resist...that pun was just begging to be used). The Whirly Board is a multi-use balance board. It looks like a skateboard but instead of wheels, there is a balance ball underneath. This board is perfect if you're looking to burn calories and improve core strength while at a standing desk, for use during various fitness routines, or just for family fun!

I always enjoy trying new fitness routines and tools, so that's what I immediately thought of when I saw this. It can be used during push ups, balancing exercises, and so much more! The instability the board gives works your muscles and challenges your balance, making it the perfect tool for anyone looking to take their fitness to another level. It will especially work those core muscles, something I especially enjoy. It's interesting to see just how many exercises I can incorporate the Whirly Board into to get an extra challenge during my morning workout. Mountain climbers have never been my favorite exercise, but try doing it holding onto the Whirly Board and it becomes extra difficult - but extra beneficial!

The Whirly Board is also recommended for athletes to use for training, for folks who would like to burn some calories at the office (especially great if you have a standing desk), or for fun...I imagine our family will be having some competition soon to see who can balance the longest on our Whirly Board!

This watch monitors your activity and gives you feedback about how you are doing. Everyone should be physically active at least 30 minutes each day, and the FA20 helps you achieve this. Throughout your day you can check and see if you are having a Lazy Day (active less than 30 minutes), Easy Day (active 30 to 60 minutes), Active Day (active 60 to 75 minutes) or an Intensive Day (active more than 75 minutes).
