Ripley's Books for the Holidays!!

Hi Neighbors!!

Looking for perfect gift ideas for all ages and tastes?  Ripley’s Publishing has got them!

For the little ones Ripley’s has produced a set of fun and interesting board books that are designed to give a child a fun time as well as a learning experience.  Two of these are "Funny Feelings" and "Odd Opposites"! Odd Opposites is just like it sounds with one page giving a word such as hot with the word cold on the opposing page, each accompanied with a nice colorful illustrations.  Funny feelings is slightly different with a word that describes a feeling such as bored or nervous with the appropriate picture on the next page. With great graphics they are sure to be a winner with both boys and girls.

For the next age level there are picture books such as Gabby and Norman.  Stunning, colorful,  illustrations, of the expected quality by John Graziano. These books have full sentences and then the pictures tell the rest of the story.  Gabby and the Dark concerns a brave green sea turtle who overcomes his fear of the dark and Norman and the Flight features an African penguin who is determined to fly.

Ripley’s Readers Nitro Circus books are designed to help children build their confidence and reading skills and this is done by stories containing information that includes fun and entertaining topics.  As everyone knows,  Nitro Circus is an explosive action sport that features the best athletes in BMX, FMX, Scooter and Skate riding!  “You Got This” features Travis Pastrana, the “ringleader” of Nitro Circus, who became the World Freestyle Champion at age 14!  “Never Say Can’t” stars Bruce Cook, who began riding dirt bikes at age five believe it or not, and then was injured attempting the world’s first motorcycle jump.  Nine months later he was back on his cycle and the rest I will let the reader learn!

The Nitro Circus “Best of” books are perfect for the next age level with more detailed information. Just like the Ripley Readers, Nitro Circus books are filled with fantastic pictures.  “Best of Scooter” is 63 big pages and features many scooter athletes and is packed with everything from recording wild feats to safety information!  “Best of BMX” follows a similar pattern but this time focuses on the BMX world.  Again 63 educational and fun pages!

For teens to adults “100 Best BIONS” and the “Ripley’s Believe it or Not-Beyond the Bizarre” are fantastic reads that will delight both in amazing facts and beautiful pictures!  “BIONS” stands for “Believe It or Not Stories” featuring the most popular and unusual stories that have been told, both from the past and of recent times!  “Beyond the Bizarre” is an oversize Ripley’s book and is a whopping 255 pages, making this treasure not only a great addition to your library but a great bargain!  With stories like “Bear Parade,”  “If looks Could Kill” and “Balloon Dog,”  you will have much to be thrilled about and have many stories to share with friends and family!

So grab a handful of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not books for the holiday season!  You will be glad you did...and so will the ones who receive the books!
