MPOWERED Solar Lanterns

Hi Neighbors!!

Here is a unique gift idea!! MPOWERED has these really cool lanterns.  They are solar powered and are perfect for camping, evenings on the beach, children's bedrooms even.

I was amazed when I opened the boxes for these lanterns!!  They are designed to be blown up for use, and then have the air released and flatten them for storage.  They each have a solar panel on top, but then each one is a little different.

First is the Luci Color Inflatable Light.  This light has 8 different colors to choose from when lit and it also has a color cycle mode.  It can last 6 hours on a single charge.  The light requires 7 hours to recharge.  I love that they are RGB LEDs, because they do not heat up.  Children can carry them around with them safely and they are light weight, 4.4 oz.  To change colors, simply press the on/off button.  Hold the button to turn off.  This light collapses to 1 inch.

The next Solar Lantern is the Base Light + Power Bank.  This is also a mobile charger.  This light is a little bigger and more powerful than the first light.  One charge can last up to 50 hours.  It has warm white LEDS and has 350 lumens.  You can charge this lantern with the solar panel, or it can be charged with the included USB cord.  It is 6 inches in diameter and can withstand up to 150 lbs of pressure.  I Also waterproof  IP67.

The last lantern is the Connect Smart Solar Light + Mobile Charger.  This is their first Smart Light, that you can control with your Smart Phone.  Just pair with your phone, and you can set the mood, increase or decrease the light and set a schedule all right where you are sitting without getting up. by pairing by Bluetooth.  This means you can still control your light even if you are out camping and don't have wi-fi!!

Each product purchased allows MPOWERED to help others who need clean energy.  For example for a $10  donation they will give a light to hurricane Dorian victims.  Or:
"Join us in delivering light around the world by donating a light for just $10. Our Give Luci program pools together all donations and gets distributed via our partners for use in search & rescue missions, disaster relief, improving community health and safety, and education initiatives. So far, we have impacted over 3 million lives, and with your help we can do so much more! "

I am totally impressed by MPOWERED Solar Lanterns.  These would make such a good gift for hunters, fishermen, hikers, campers, parents, literally just about anyone can find a use for one of these solar lanterns.  Power outage due to a storm, children afraid of the dark, I am sure you can come up with an excellent use for one or more of these lanterns.

Visit their website and see just which light would work for your gift giving needs.  Then follow them on their social media.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
