Damian McGinty Shares His Favorite Christmas Song & More | Christmas Interview Series

Mercy: Favorite Christmas tradition?
Damian: Not a tradition as such, but I suppose with the way my life has turned out flying back to Ireland at Christmas is something I look forward to every year. Spending a lot of time with family and friends, not doing very much but eating everything, I love it.

Mercy: Favorite Christmas memory?
Damian: I've sung at Christmas Eve mass my entire life growing up. It’s a highlight when I look back and something I always really enjoyed doing. I am doing it this year, which I am really excited about.

Mercy: Favorite Christmas movie?
Damian: Santa Fake. (Joking)  I would have to say Elf or Home Alone.

Mercy: Favorite Christmas song to sing?
Damian: Christmas Baby Please Come Home. I think it’s such a great song and I did it on my 2016 Christmas album with a full orchestra which was such a buzz.

Mercy: Must-have Christmas food?
Damian: At Christmas I eat just about anything. My mum makes an amazing Christmas dinner. Turkey and ham (I love stuffing, might be my favorite part of the dinner.)

Mercy: White or green Christmas?
Damian: White. Always a dream, but I’ve had 1 of them in my lifetime. Ireland doesn’t serve up white Christmases very often.

Damian, thank you again, for taking the time for this short Christmas interview. Friends, Damian will be doing a Christmas stage-it and is currently on his Christmas tour so be sure to check those out. Links below to both of those as well as his social media. What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.
