Love these two books from Soho Spark!  Soho Spark journals encourage you to write down your thoughts and ideas. The journals are beautiful and easy to take with you anywhere. Keep a travel journal, create a diary, use it to Spark new ideas for a business or just your future. These journals are a perfect gift for the holidays for teens and adults.

The first book is a spiral bound diary. Inside are lined, numbered pages, 366 pages total.  The pages are acid-free 80gsm that are perfect for fountain and calligraphy pens as it won’t wick or bleed through. With 366 pages you will have a page a day for a year. The cover is what drew me. It has a beautiful mountain scene. The pen-and-wash style watercolor painting on the cover is inspiring. This is a sturdy, well-made journal. ($19.99 but presently on sale.)  It arrives in a nice, white box ready for gifting.

The second journal is actually a faux leather cover writing journal that comes with a high quality Soho Spark notebook inside. The cover is padded and very soft. It is embossed with an eagle in flight. The faux leather is actually vegan, 100% synthetic and animal free. Pages of the journal are numbered, 240, and are also acid-free and do not wick or bleed. The nice thing with this cover is it can be used over and over again by replacing the inside notebook. It also comes with pen holder loops you can attach. The journal is designed to lie flat. The size makes it perfect to take along with you to record your thoughts, memories or creative ideas. ($34.99 but presently on sale.)

Whoever you decide to gift with one of these beautifully designed journals will enjoy the gift and the thought that went into purchasing it. Throw in a nice pen for their journaling.  Soho Spark has several different cover designs that will speak to each writer individually, so go look around the Soho Spark website and find the one that will speak to the individual you are gifting it to. What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately.
