Pigeon Forge TN Mini-Vacation

Hey neighbors!!

We are taking a trip to Pigeon Forge TN in a little under 2 weeks!! I am so excited!! We rented a cabin for the 5 of us and are taking the dogs with us too.  We are going for NQC, the National Quartet Convention.  This will be a week of wonderful southern gospel music, as well as a few speakers.

Not only are we going to be having a lot of fun, but you are going to see social media posts of our trip, including some products we are taking along with us.  Check these out, and then keep a lookout for them in our social media.

The first is from Overland Dog Gear.  I am so looking forward to using this Ultimate Week Away Duffle and the accompanying Dine Away Set on this trip.  This is going to make it easy to keep all the dog gear in one place.  I hate when we take the dogs along and are constantly searching for bowls, leashes, cleanup bags and toys.  This will make everything convenient.  It includes collapsible bowls and storage containers for dog food.  Keep watching for more and we will do a full post when we get back.

Next we have the Jabra ELITE 65t Wireless Earbuds.  My daughter already wants to take possession and we haven't left yet.  We will be sharing pics on social media!!  Watch and see who gets to wear them the most!!

Balmshot, lip balms will be carried by all of us girls on the trip.  We love these lip balms in shotgun shell style cases.  We have a variety of flavors.  See if you can tell which one is each girl's favorite!

Lugz Women's Dot.com 2.0 Oxford Sneaker are going to be my go to shoes for the trip.  Although my daughter has already asked if she can wear these on their sunrise hike on Monday morning!! Keep an eye out!!

Have any of you seen, In A Pikle?  This wonderful case will be traveling with us as well.  It has all kinds of handy items all in one organizer for those unexpected emergencies.  You know, like traveling and you need a safety pin, or a hand wipe, or even a bobby pin, you can find it all in the Pikle that ou pack before you leave home.  When you feel like you are in a pickle, check your Pikle.  I am sure you will see this being used.

Cozy Phones will also be seen in use on this trip!! We LOVE these comfortable fitting headphones!! They are perfect for trips so you can listen to music, watch a video on your tablet or phone, and they are even great when catching a quick nap.  They make really neat ones for children too!

Like I said, we will be using all these products on our trip.  We will also be visiting some Ripley's Gatlinburg attractions and Ober Gatlinburg.  I am sure we will share some of the places we stop to eat or shop.  So, make sure you follow us on our social media so you don't miss a single post!!

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
