Interview With Jocelyn Hudon ~ Moments With Mercy

The first time I had the treat of seeing Jocelyn Hudon act was on When Call's The Heart : The Greatest Christmas Blessing.

Since then I've had the pleasure of seeing a few of her different movies, including most recently; From Friend To Fiancè.  I always thoroughly enjoy her performances and was thrilled when she agreed to an interview. So, without further ado, my interview with Jocelyn.

Mercy: Can you share a little about yourself?
Jocelyn: Hi! I'm Jocelyn Hudon.  I'm an actress, dog mom, and avocado toast lover.

Mercy: What started your interest in acting?
Jocelyn: I love performing! I started ballet when I was three so I've always been on stage performing in some capacity, and I love making people laugh.

Mercy: Hearties had the treat of seeing you in the Christmas Episode of When Calls The Heart this past year as Grace. What can you tell us about your character and the new series When Hope Calls?
Jocelyn: Yes, that was so fun to film! Grace is a happy girl who has had not such a happy past, but always seems to see the bright side and stay positive. She loves kids and wants to make sure everyone is happy, and feels loved and wanted.

Mercy: What was your favorite part of filming From Friend To Fiance?
Jocelyn: My favorite part was the cast and crew. I made amazing friends on that movie. Kelly and Ryan were so fun to work with, and we got along instantly and have kept in touch ever since.

Mercy: What kind of roles do you prefer to portray?
Jocelyn: Definitely comedy.

Mercy: What are some of your career aspirations?
Jocelyn: I would love to just keep continuing to work and bringing amazing content to viewers and bringing joy into peoples homes.

Mercy: What is something most people don't know about you?
Jocelyn: I'm a scuba diver. I actually was certified to scuba dive before I could even drive.

Mercy: If you lived in the When Hope Calls time period what is the one thing you'd miss the most?Jocelyn: SOUL CYCLE. I'm an avid soul cycler.. I am completely addicted.

Mercy: Any other upcoming projects you can share about?
Jocelyn: Yes! WHC and my new movie "Eat Drink and Be Married" out soon 🙂

Readers, as aforementioned I absolutely love Jocelyn's movies! There is not a thing I see her in that I don't stop and think for a second about how talented she is.
I can't wait to see more of her character, Grace, on When Hope Calls (seen in WCTH)-- such a vivacious, caring person. August cannot come soon enough!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child
