We all have a special friend in our lives. The one that is always there. You can call them whenever you need to talk, they listen, they give advice, and they know exactly what to say in every situation. Your best friend. However, when it comes to showing your appreciation you may become a little stuck on what to do. Birthdays or Christmas, even just gifts to show you are thinking of them could become difficult as you try and find the right gift for them. So I thought I would share with you some of the best ideas you could consider.

Their Favorite Beverage
I am sure you may have shared many a conversation with this friend over the years, so you are bound to be aware of their favourite drink. It might be a certain coffee or they may have a passion for tea. However, finding the right gift that speaks more than just a canister of something might seem hard. These days you can get unusual coffees and teas with related gifts. A monthly coffee subscription service could send your friend a new coffee to try each month. A specialty tea company could send them a box or gift basket of different teas to try. You could even create your own hamper and include one of their special coffees or teas with a mug to drink out of and even some other treats to enjoy.

Something Personalized
Maybe you like the idea of something that is personalized for them. This sort of gift route could present you with many possibilities so I will mention a few to get you inspired. First up would be something like stationery, if your friend likes to write letters. If your friend has a stationery obsession you can find some nice personalized sets from websites like Giftsin24. Other items that can be personalized would include pieces of jewelry, mugs,  totes and throws. It would be good to look around and see what there is based on the budget you have in place for the gift.

A Trip
Maybe you like the idea of gifting an experience that both of you could enjoy. In this case there are many options to choose from. You could consider something like an afternoon tea, where you can dressed up and enjoy plush surroundings. Maybe your friend would prefer a meal out or even something like a spa day where you can both relax and unwind. There are plenty of things you could do together and having the chance to make more memories is just as good as the gift itself.

A Gift Related to Their Hobby or Passion
Finally, maybe consider giving them a gift that shows them you are thinking of them and their special likes. Try to find out what they are most interested in at this time.  Are they exercising more and or trying to better themselves? A book perhaps to help with self improvement or organization. Maybe you could find thoughtful printed quote that is framed, or a picture of you both enjoying yourselves. Only you will know what will put a smile on their face and thinking of this could help you pinpoint the right gift.

What are some gifts you have given a friend to show them you cared?  Share it in the comments.  Thanks for stopping by.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home.
