Modest Clothing Makes Great Gifts! #HolidayGiftGuide #ApostolicClothing

"I love this shirt!" That was my response upon seeing this item for the first time, and it has been a pretty constant refrain ever since over the past couple months. Apostolic Clothing is no stranger to our family or to our readers, as we have featured them a couple times in the past. Without a doubt though, this recent blouse I received for review is hands-down my favorite. In fact, it is my favorite shirt in my closet right now!

I received the Stonewash Denim Blouse for review from Apostolic Clothing. I love denim blouses, but have had a very hard time finding one with a fit that is flattering for a woman's figure (most are too boxy), lightweight, and dressy looking. This blouse has 3/4 length sleeves that can be folded up with the roll tab for a short sleeve during warmer weather. It's a very lightweight denim that fits nicely, not that stiff denim that's just too uncomfortable to wear. I love the versatility of the blouse, too. I have worn it to Church events with a black skirt and pearls, or dress it down with a denim or khaki skirt.

The best part about this blouse is honestly the fit. Most denim shirts seem to run small, so finding one that actually fits and fits nicely (not too snug or too boxy, as I already mentioned), is a huge deal for me! It's a very flattering fit, and the super-feminine styling makes it the perfect choice. Every time I pull this shirt out of the closet I seriously comment, "I love this shirt." My sister actually jokes about it now-"Hey, do you like that shirt at all?" Yes, this blouse is honestly that incredible! Apostolic Clothing has a great selection of women's tops, skirts, dresses and accessories, any of which would make a great gift for any classy lady this Christmas season.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
