Hey neighbors!
Have you ever taken a moment to think about where we would be without electricity? Most people immediately think of no computers or their most used electronics, but there is so much more that would be missing if we had no electricity. Obviously we would be without normal lights, but many would not be able to cook, heat and cool their homes, refrigerate food, and many other common, everyday things we take for granted. Traffic would be a mess without stop lights and air traffic would be in confusion.
What about medical facilities and hospitals where electricity runs so many devices just to keep someone alive? You would not be able to check out at most stores, because cash registers run on electricity. No more cold foods at grocery stores either as refrigerators and freezers run on electricity.
What would the world be like if we no longer had electricity? Be sure to leave a comment telling me at least one thing that having no electricity would affect. Try to come up with something I have not already mentioned. Then take a moment to think about all those people throughout the history of electricity who have given us so many benefits today.
