Simply Earth Essential Oils Subscription Box

Hi Neighbors!

So delighted that you dropped by today!  I am so excited to share this subscription box from Simply Earth.  I just received one of their Essential Oil boxes for review.  I have to tell you, it even smelled GREAt before I opened it!

I am amazed by all that was in the box, no to mention, they supply the items you need to make a few essential oil gifts and mixes.

In our box we found:
Rosemary Essential Oil
Frankincense Essential Oil
Pine Essential Oil
Happy Joy, an essential oil blend
2 small brown empty oil bottles (for your own mixes)
A spray bottle for creating a home scent spray
A small mason jar
Small labels for the bottles
A piece of twine
A pink ribbon
A roll-on of Curb Hunger
6 Recipes on a ring

So, after unboxing and inhaling all the scents, we decided to make the room freshener first.  I needed to add baking soda, but that is a pretty commonly found in my baking cupboard.  We put 1/2 a cup of baking soda in the mason jar.  Next we added approx. 10-11 drops of our two oils to the baking soda. Then we cut a piece of tulle netting in a circle to fit the lid of our mason jar.  Remove the metal circle from the lid, lay the tulle over the top of the jar and then screw on the lid.  Tie a ribbon around the outside of the jar.  Shake gently to slightly mix the baking soda and oils, and then place in a room to allow the fragrance to fill the room.  We placed ours in the girl's bathroom.  It smells wonderful!  And we can use the jar over again and fill it with a different fragrance later.

We are going to use a couple other recipes and share those here as well.  I am totally sold on essential oils, and I LOVE that Simply Earth is making these monthly kits available, with supplies and recipes, to encourage myself and others to learn more about essential oils.  The monthly box is $39.  They also have an option where you only receive a box every three months.  Or you can just purchase the present month's box.

I think these EO Recipe Boxes are perfect for the beginner with essential oils, or for the person who wants to learn more.  Of course if you love essential oils, you will have fun each month receiving a box full of fun recipes to try.

In each box you will find:
6-7 different recipes in each box with a new theme each month from DIY cleaning, holiday, or bath & beauty.
5 full size bottles of essential oils
Extra, labels, and containers to make your recipes
And we make videos to help you with the recipes too.

Simply Earth Oils are 100% pure.  Another thing you might want to know is 13% of Simply Earth profits go to help stop human trafficking.  You can read a little about this on their website, HERE.  Be sure to follow Simply Earth through their social media:

I also want to add here, that a subscription to their Essential Oil boxes would make a great holiday gift.  I know I would love receiving these boxes each month!  And if you use this code (BLESSEDFREEDIF), when you subscribe, you will receive a free diffuser.

You need both Simply Earth's essential oil recipe box and the diffuser in your cart for the coupon: BLESSEDFREEDIF  to work to get your free diffuser when you sign up for Simply Earth's subscription box.
So sign up here for the box https://simplyearth.com/pages/subscription-box

Oh, and if you looked close enough to notice that the Pine Essential Oil is not in my pictures, that would be because my daughter "borrowed" it to diffuse in her room!

Thanks for stopping by today to visit!  See you again soon!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child
