Hey neighbors!
We are starting our gift guide off with the Lil' Troops Bravo Squad! I just have to tell you, these little guys have a place in my heart. My son just left for Army Basic Training about one month ago, so they have become our mascots! He is actually part of a different squad, but we will have to live with that. Not only is that special to me, but a portion of each sale goes to the US Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. These lil' guys are licensed by the US Army.
Now, on to the actual review. I received a Collectible Set, which includes three figures and their accessories. Mine, yes mine, came with two canteens a walkie and a pair of binoculars. The one in the Army shirt reminds me of my son. I also have one in the tan Desert Storm type uniform. Last of all is, I believe the Recon Scout.
Standing at 2 1/2 inches tall any young boy would be excited to own these. The arms move and the head and waist both rotate. You can play with these figures, or display them. They are very well made and sturdy. More troops are in the works, so you will be able to add to the collection. Not recommended for very young children as there are small accessories.
Not only do these make great toys to play with, but they are also nice mascots for children whose parent is away on duty. A helpful reminder of their parent and what that parent is doing. As I said, mine are now my computer mascots while waiting for my son to complete basic.
Along with Lil' Troops, Party Animal Toys also has sports figures from many different teams. You can see them on their website. Be sure to register your set of Lil' Troops. There are some games and activities there too.
You can find Lil' Troops at Toys R' Us, Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohl's and many others. If you can not find them locally, you can purchase them at:www.lilteammatesshop.com
