Bertolli Riserva Pasta Sauce Review and Giveaway!
Hey neighbors!
Imagine my excitement to receive 4 jars of the new Bertolli Riserva Pasta Sauces. Four different jars arrived in a special box just so the family could try it out and then share what we though with you.
Our first jar we used on meatballs one evening to make meatball subs. We used the Marinara with Parmigiano and Reggiano. My husband could even taste a difference. He commented on the flavor during dinner. It has a garden fresh flavor. Just look at the chunks of tomato in the sauce below.
We used the frozen meatballs, but the sauce really made a difference in the taste of the meatballs.
The next jar we used to make homemade pizzas. We often use a flatbread for our crust and then add sauce and all kinds of toppings! We used the Asiago Cheese and Artichokes. It came out really good and tasty! This one you can see small pieces of artichoke. I think this one would taste even better over pasta instead of on our pizza, because you will be able to taste the flavor better.
These are some really tasty sauces. Great over pasta, as pizza sauce, lasagna, etc. The other two sauces are Balsamic Vinegar & Carmelized Onions and Porcini Mushroom & White Truffle Oil. I will enjoy the one with carmelized onions and I KNOW my daughter will like the Porcini mushroom one! She loves mushrooms. The last two we will be using in a pasta based recipe. I am thinking lasagna or manicotti.
