Premier Sport Wear from McDavid USA! #Review

Most of our family is very active, with various members having their own favorite activities. Some enjoy racquetball, some enjoy tennis, the boys prefer basketball and football (although the girls still enjoy taking them on in these games as well), and I personally enjoy just about anything I can do outdoors-jogging, biking, sports, and my personal favorite, martial arts.

I actually started jogging last summer when M and I decided to enter a 5K race. About one month before the date of the race we signed up, and started training 5-6 days a week. Over the winer we pretty much stopped running due to all the ice, but this past spring I decided to keep going with jogging, even though we weren't looking to race again anytime soon. I actually discovered that I enjoy jogging; there's nothing quite like going out in the early morning and getting 3 or 4 miles done before most people are even out of bed! One thing I had to deal with in the beginning was shin splints though. Last year when we first started jogging, there were a couple times it was so bad we had to take a couple days off. We kept at it though, and soon the shin splints became less of a problem. I knew compression was a good way to help with the issue, so I kept an eye out for some at stores, but didn't really find anything that looked like what I wanted. I took my search online, and discovered McDavid, a company that offers premier sport and performance wear for men and women alike!
I received the Women's Capri Tights from McDavid for review. These are 3/4 length, which is exactly what I like. They are the perfect base layer for sports, and especially for running/jogging! The compression is amazing, and really did help with any pain or discomfort from running-I haven't had shin splints at all since I started wearing these capri tights during my jogging! I also like that they're made with moisture management technology, which means they help keep you dry while running.

These compression tights also came in handy when we started jiu-jitsu classes a few months ago. There's a lot of ground training/fighting, and it's pretty much a given that you need another layer under your uniform. These are perfect for this situation, because the compression means they're not riding up or sliding down even with all the rolling, twisting and shrimping (yes, that's an actual jiu-jitsu move) you do in jiu-jitsu!

Love the inner pocket for cash, etc.!
McDavid offers so many other great sport gear from shirts, shorts, sleeves, pants, and more! Be sure to check out their website if you're in the market for some new performance wear!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
