Leather iPhone 6 / 6S Case

Hey neighbors! Here is a really nice iPhone 6 / 6S Leather Case you can find on Amazon from Barilli.  Let me tell you up front, I think my daughter would have purchased it for the smell.  Love the scent of leather!  When I think of leather purses or wallets I think quality, and the same can be said of this iPhone Case. The case I received is an orange/red on the outside.  The inside is a deep maroon, felt feel material.  It is an open face case and is made with Tuscany Leather.  The internal part of the case is a polycarbonate which will help protect your iPhone from bumps and such.  Each leather case is handcrafted. The case is classy enough to use at work or business meetings and yet casual enough to use every day.  I am sure my son will get a lot of use out of this new case.  The case comes nicely packaged for gifting.  It is in a drawstring storage bag inside a sturdy box.  Start thinking gifts! Premier Sport Wear from McDavid USA! #Review

Most of our family is very active, with various members having their own favorite activities. Some enjoy racquetball, some enjoy tennis, the boys prefer basketball and football (although the girls still enjoy taking them on in these games as well), and I personally enjoy just about anything I can do outdoors-jogging, biking, sports, and my personal favorite, martial arts.  I actually started jogging last summer when M and I decided to enter a 5K race. About one month before the date of the race we signed up, and started training 5-6 days a week. Over the winer we pretty much stopped running due to all the ice, but this past spring I decided to keep going with jogging, even though we weren't looking to race again anytime soon. I actually discovered that I enjoy jogging; there's nothing quite like going out in the early morning and getting 3 or 4 miles done before most people are even out of bed! One thing I had to deal with in the beginning was shin splints though. Last ye

Make Your New Pup Feel At Home With These Tips And Ideas

Hi neighbors! A close friend of mine recently adopted the cutest puppy and asked me for some advice on making him feel at home. This got me thinking about when my family adopted a dog a couple of years ago, and what we did to ensure he felt safe and comfortable. After coming up with lots of tips and advice for my friend, I thought that I would share what I told her, on here, as well. Just in case there is anyone else out there who is in the process of adopting a new puppy into their family and needs a little bit of help. Picture link Make up a bed for him or her First things first, you need to make a bed up for your new family member. This should be somewhere that is comfortable and cozy, and ideal for relaxing and sleeping in. To find the perfect bed, visit your local pet store or have a browse online. You should be able to find plenty of cool dog beds , so no matter what you are after, there should be something suitable. It’s a good idea to opt for a washa

Modest Denim Skirts from Baby'O Clothing! #CouponCode

You may remember a few weeks ago when I shared with you all about the lovely tiered denim skirt I was able to review from Baby'O Clothing . That skirt has become my go-to for casual wear, and I was thrilled when contacted about another opportunity to feature one of Baby'O Clothing's skirts! I received the Side Button Front Tiered Skirt in a denim blue color this time, and this is another winner from Baby'O! The skirt features off-center front buttons down the length of the skirt, in addition to the 5 tiers. It's definitely eye-catching, and really dresses up the denim to make it nice enough for even Sunday morning church services!  I love the button detailing, as it really makes the skirt stand out. I'm a huge denim fan (I practically live in denim skirts) so having a dressy one makes me very happy. :) One aspect that's very important is that there's no gapping between the buttons. Often with button-down skirts I have to sew along the e

Koru Naturals Review

Hey Neighbors! I recently was given the opportunity to review a few different products from Koru Naturals .  In my box, I received the Skin Clear Cream , Manuka Honey Propolis Soap , and Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic .   I was able to review ALL three!  Koru Naturals makes some wonderful health and beauty products from New Zealand available to us here in the US. One of my oldest daughters used the Skin Clear Cream.  This cream contains no parabens, artificial colors or fragrances.  My family likes that it is made of natural ingredients, like the Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil.  There are some other natural, botanical, ingredients like Thyme and Burdock Root.  This cream only takes a small dab and does not leave the skin feeling greasy.  It absorbs quickly into the skin.  My daughter thinks it has what seems like a light citrus scent. Applied twice daily the cream will help restore elasticity and help with acne.  Priced at: $19.20. The Manuka Honey Propolis Soap obv

Reformation Day Giveaway

Hey neighbors! Here is a great giveaway!  I am presently reading this book and will be sharing it with the whole family soon as part of our family nights.  Extremely well written and very interesting!  Not to mention this is one of my husbands favorite historical figures!  Read on and then be sure to enter. October 31 commemorates what has become known as "Reformation Day." Martin Luther’s nailing of his ninety-five theses to a church door on October 31, 1517 in Wittenburg, Germany, provoked a debate that resulted in what we now call the Protestant Reformation. As the “Father of the Reformation”, Martin Luther is a vital figure in Church history. His sacrifice and willingness to wage battle against the spiritual, religious, and political powers of his medieval world allowed Christians throughout time to embrace the truth of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone as explained by Scripture alone. Author Danika Cooley has written Luther's story fo

A Step by Step Guide to Getting Ready to Start Going to the Gym

Hi Neighbors! If you’ve never used a gym before and you’re thinking of joining, you might feel a bit intimidated. Many people in the gym know their stuff, and you might feel like a fish out of water trying to muddle through if you go with no idea of what you’re doing. Use this step by step guide to start the gym to help you feel better! Have an Induction Some gyms will make inductions compulsory. Others will give you the option to pay for one if you feel you need one. However, you should always have an induction if you’re new to the gym. An induction will help you get to better understand the equipment and the layout of the gym. This means you don’t have to walk in without a clue of where to go or what to do! Buy Proper Training Clothes You must train in proper training clothes . Not only will you actually look as if you know what you’re doing, you’ll also be safer as you workout. If you’re working with heavy equipment and wearing baggy clothing, you run the risk of ge

WonderWorks Attraction in Pigeon Forge!

It amazes me that we have driven by the WonderWorks in Panama City Beach, FL so many times, yet we never actually visited. It seems we were always on our way to or from somewhere, and never took the time to stop in. Visiting Pigeon Forge is a different story though, and we were excited when WonderWorks sent tickets for the four of us to visit on our recent vacation! WonderWorks is definitely a building you will recognize after seeing it just once. An upside-down building draws the eye, and holds a fun adventure for the whole family! After passing through the turnstile, you are offered the option of going through a tunnel, or taking the "safe" route through a door. The tunnel is one of those that makes you feel like the whole room is spinning, and normally these don't faze me in the least, but this one had even me grabbing for the rail towards the end! The WonderWorks attraction takes about 2 hours to go through, more or less depending on how much you get invol

FishFlix.com and Do You Believe?

Hey neighbors! I recently received the DVD of Do You Believe? from FishFlix.com for review purposes.  My husband had a I had a attended a preview screening many months ago, as a church leader type screening,  but the rest of the family had not yet seen it, so I was pretty excited to get a copy for review purposes.  We planned a family night when every one was home to watch it.  Thank you FishFlix.com. The storyline of Do You Believe? allows you to see the connections between the lives of several different people and the effect they have on each other without any of them realizing it.  It sort of gives a God's eye view rather than the human eye view of how many lives you affect without even being aware of it.  It shows the importance of how we respond to each person we meet.  I really enjoyed watching it a second time and catching some of the things I missed the first time. The only thing I personally had a problem with was the idea that everyone became a Christian excep

My Top Tips For Improving Your Oral Hygiene

Hey neighbors! Every aspect of my health and fitness is important to me, from the food I eat to the exercise I get. There can be things big and small that make a difference to how healthy I am. So I try to incorporate lots of things into my lifestyle to make it healthier. Apart from major considerations like my diet and workout routine, there are also other things to think about. Necessities like looking after my skin and teeth might not seem as significant. But they're still important. Plus, they tie into what I eat and my activity levels. One of the things I have always tried to do is look after my teeth and oral health. My husband was a dental assistant in the military and he set down some dental health rules in the home. If you want to improve yours, here are some of my top tips. William Warby Get a New Toothbrush A lot of people will hang onto a toothbrush for ages. Even if they can see it's getting past its best, they only remember to replace it when the
