Holiday Gifts For Lefty's! #HolidayGiftGuide #Lefty'sLeftHandedStore #FoodieFriday

Do we have any left-handed readers? While I myself am right-handed, my mother and two of my siblings are leftys. Yeah, I grew up hearing that "Only left-handed people are in their right mind" all the time! Needless to say, when I first learned about Lefty's the Left Hand Store a couple years back, I thought it was such a wonderful idea! Lefty's was gracious enough to send us an item for our gift guide, so let's see what you can add to your shopping list for the lefty in your life!

We received the 4-Piece Left-Handed Kitchen Utensil Set for review. This set includes a slotted spatula, stir spoon, pot-sitter, and wok tool, all designed for the left handed person to use. I tried using one, and found it very awkward-is this how leftys feel using the normal tools we rightys all take for granted?

The tools are very well made; obviously being bamboo, they're quality tools that will last. I love that the bamboo makes them safe for use in any pan. Of course I needed a leftys opinion, to know how comfortable it was for use. No surprise, M thought it was great! And, at the price of only 19.95 for the 4 piece set, this would be an incredible-and very well-received-gift this holiday season!

Beautiful set of left-handed bamboo kitchen tools including a 14" Slotted Spatula, 14-1/2" Pot-Sitter, 15" Wok Tool, and 13" Stir Spoon.

• Tool ends are angled for use in the left hand.

• The Pot-Sitter, or Lazy Spoon, is the customers' favorite. Notched to fit on the edge of the pot, it eliminates messy drips. Perforated spoon.

• Bamboo never gets too hot to handle and can withstand high heat.

• The set comes in an attractive mesh bag.

• Bamboo is elegant, strong, renewable, and does not swell or shrink.

Be sure to visit Lefty's and check out all the other great items they have. School office, tools, kitchen, watches, music, and fun stuff for leftys are all available for purchase in their online store!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
