High and Low Calendar for the New Year

Hi Neighbors!

This is a sponsored review with Mums the Word Blogger Network and Blickenstaff's. All opinions are my own.

Here is a great way to start off your New Year.  It s a High & Low Calendar from Bickenstaff's.  You can use this calendar each evening at dinner time.  You could also use it with friends or co-workers.  It will help spark conversation as well as be a wonderful way to look back on your year.

You can do this before dinner, or if easier do it at the end of the meal before everyone gets up.  Each person can list a high and a low of their day.  Whether it was a low score in school, getting caught in traffic on the way home or saying something you regret.  Your high might be a compliment someone gave you, a good grade, or meeting a friend you haven't seen in awhile.  At the bottom of the page you list what you had to eat.

There is also a question on the back of the page for each person to answer.  For example:
1. If your life was recorded in a history book, what would you want it to say?
2. What are your favorite family traditions? Why?
3. What is your favorite book?  Why?
As you can see this questions will spark some discussion.  It will be interesting to see each person's response.

At the end of the year you can take time to go through the calendar and hit some highlights.  You can then store it for future reviewing.

You can purchase the High & Low Calendar at Bickenstaff's.  Thank you for stopping in.  See you soon!

What a great item for Get Out Get Active! The Polar FA20 counts your daily physical activity. First you need to set the basic information. The date, units (metric or imperial), your weight, height, birth date, and male or female. Place the FA20 on your wrist to measure your physical activity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This watch monitors your activity and gives you feedback about how you are doing. Everyone should be physically active at least 30 minutes each day, and the FA20 helps you achieve this. Throughout your day you can check and see if you are having a Lazy Day (active less than 30 minutes), Easy Day (active 30 to 60 minutes), Active Day (active 60 to 75 minutes) or an Intensive Day (active more than 75 minutes).
