Gifts For Martial Artists From Turtle Press!! #HolidayGiftGuide

It seems more and more people are getting involved in martial arts in recent years, and it's really no surprise. No other "sport" or hobby offers so many benefits, and so much enjoyment! If you have a martial artist in your family, or maybe someone who's interested in getting started in martial arts, then Turtle Press is a great place to go holiday shopping. They have the best selection of martial arts books and videos I've found online!

I received the book "Vital Point Strikes: The Art and Science of Vital Target Striking For Self Defense and Combat Sports" by Sang Kim for review from Turtlee Press. Yes, it's a long title, but it's the best book I've read on vital point striking, hands-down! The book is larger than many vital point books I've read and that's because each strike is illustrated, as well as the possible results, and best technique to use. The first chapter details strike points on the human anatomy, the nervous and circulatory system, etc. It's designed so even beginners can grasp the information. The last part of the book is devoted to exercises putting to use the information you heave learned. Defense against ground attacks, rear or front grabs, and even knife and gun attacks are explained and illustrated in detail. A serious study of this book will supply any martial artist with the necessary information to defend themselves in almost any situation!

The only issue I have had with this keeping it in my possession. I started raving about the book, and since then, certain family members have attempted to put it on their own bookshelf! Guess that means I'll have to buy a couple copies so I can keep my own! Seriously though, check out Turtle Press and see if you aren't overwhelmed at the wealth of informative books and videos for martial artists!
