Baby's Journey Towel Warmer #GiftIdea

Hi Neighbors!

Anyone expecting or have a new baby?  Perhaps you know someone who is expecting or has just had a baby.  If so, you need to read about the Baby's Journey Towel Warmer.  This would make a great gift!  Perfect for a baby shower too!

Baby's Journey Towel Warmer is compact and and will sit on a counter top, on a dresser in baby's room, wherever you might need it.  The towel warmer will hold a towel up to 40 in. by 70 in.  Be sure to place warmer on a flat, level, hard surface.  Be sure to plug it in, or it won't work!  Open the lid and place the towel inside, then close the lid.  Press the on button to start the towel warmer heating.

A green light will come on so you know that the warmer is heating up.  You may interrupt the warming at any point by turning the warmer off.  A red caution light will also light up to let you know that the surfaces of the towel warmer are hot.  The heating process takes approx. 10 minutes.  You may use the towel immediately, or allow it to sit in the warmer for a few minutes until you need it.  The red caution light must go off before heating more towels.

I will say here, that a product like this is not just for infants and toddlers.  I happen to have a child or two who would love to bundle up in a warm towel when stepping out of the tub or shower.  This would also be good for the elderly.  I wouldn't mind using it for placing a warm towel on the back of my neck sometimes.  The outside of the towel warmer does warm up, but it does not get too hot to touch.

Baby's Journey has many other products for for your little bundle of joy.  Be sure to stop by their website for other gift ideas.  Also follow them on their social media pages to stay up to date on new products and happenings.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child
