WorkIt Wednesday : Words to Sweat By Review + Giveaway

Hello Neighbors!

How is everyone doing this morning?  We have company visiting us for a while (they are staying almost a month), and we are really looking forward to having some fun with them.  Today, I want to share a really neat motivational product for somebody participating in a 5K (or any other type of race).

Words To Sweat By

I received a Running Necklace from Words to Sweat By, that displays a shoe tread, plus the race distance (for me, it was a 5K, but you can customize it with any distance!).  I really like this necklace and have worn it quite a bit.  It can be a motivational product, a conversational piece, or a "I did it!" piece of jewelry.  Do you know somebody that is participating in a race?  Check these out!

Here is a little bit about Dana, the founder of Words to Sweat By... "Dana Lardner officially launched Words to Sweat By™ in 2010 with the intention of helping people, no matter their size, “exercise your funny bone along with the rest of you” by creating fun and affordable motivational health and fitness products. Before Words to Sweat by, Dana (aka Whimsical Walney) had a children’s product company focused on clothing and accessories that were meant to foster a child’s imagination and decided to apply her “let children play” motto to adults (a.k.a. children at heart) and instill some humor and motivation in functional, everyday accessories. What began with a line of one-size-fits-all sassy or serious mantra workout towels has grown to include mantra t-shirts, and hand stamped jewelry. All Words to Sweat by products are designed and developed by Dana Lardner and are predominantly manufactured in her studio in San Jose, CA. "

Healthy Word Cloud Shirt

Words to Sweat By has many other neat products.  Look at this shirt above - doesn't it look great?  It is the Healthy, Strong, and Happy, surrounded by those words in other languages.  I really like my necklace (and yes, my sister did try stealing it!).  The charm is on a 18" cable link chain, and comes in a small box with a ribbon.

This really would make a great gift for a runner.  If they start to get discouraged, cheer them up!  :)  Make sure you visit the Words to Sweat By Website, and make your purchases.  You can also Like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter to stay up to date with their latest news.

Words to Sweat By is going to send 1 of my Neighbors a Running Necklace Tread + Distance!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
