Waterproof Bible by Bardin Marsee #GiftIdea

Hi Neighbors! Here is a #GiftIdea to get excited about!  Bardin Marsee Publishing produces the Waterproof Bible .  My husband thinks this is one of the greatest types of Bible available.  He does quite a bit of street ministry and he can take this anywhere! The Waterproof Bible is perfect for camping, hiking, mission trips, around the pool, anywhere your Bible might possibly get wet, dirty or have something spilt on it.  Each page is waterproof, so if you should spill anything on it, you can wipe it right off with a damp cloth or paper towel.  Dropped your Bible  in the mud or snow?  It is easy to clean if you are carrying a Bardin Marsee Waterproof Bible.  A Bible like this would make a great gift for a pastor, youth pastor, missionary or even a member of the military. Dropped dirt cake on a page. The Waterproof Bible also floats!  So, if you go near water, perhaps in a boat or poolside and your Bible drops, instead of being ruined forever, it will float and you can d

EatSmart Precision Pro Thermometer #GiftIdea #HolidayGiftGuide

Here's a great gift or even stocking stuffer idea for the chef in your life this holiday season! EatSmart sent us the Precision Pro Instant Read Food Thermometer for our holiday gift guide, and it is amazing! We decided to try out our new thermometer while making our Thanksgiving dinner. It has never been so easy to make sure the turkey is cooked through! I had it in the oven for about 4-1/2 hours when we first used the thermometer. Sure enough, it gave us the internal temp of the bird within a second, and let us know it was indeed done. I love the LCD screen; it is so easy to read, and even has a backlight (simply push the power button quickly) so you don't need to struggle and squint to see what it says. You can also set your thermometer to read in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, whichever you prefer.  The thermometer also came in handy with our ham. A friend had brought over some pre-cooked hams that just needed heated, and after about an hour, the outsi

Speck iPad Mini Case #GiftIdea

Hi neighbors! I really like this new case I received from Speck !  I have needed a good case for quite some time.  I was using a extra case that I was given, but it did not close properly and kept popping open.  I am so enjoying having a case that stays closed! Ok, that is not all that I like about a Speck case for my iPad Mini.  I have the DuraFolio .  I like the protection it gives, while still maintaining a slender, light-weight cover.  It gives a majority of protection without being making my Mini oversized.  It still fits easily in my carrying bag.  This is a military grade protective cover.  Now, I am not going to intentionally drop my iPad Mini, but let me share with you some information on the Speck site: As the above material makes clear, Speck has tested a number of its cases and determined that the identified cases meet or exceed certain standards often used by the military to determine effectiveness of protection. To be clear, this does not mean that your devices wi

Protect Your Device With DesignSkinz!! #HolidayGiftGuide

How would you like to be able to give your tech device some style? Without having that nasty sticker residue left behind when you decide to change the look out? Let me introduce you to Design Skinz , a company that offers you just that option. Design Skinz offers "skins" for just about every device you can imagine. I received the Neon Green Stars Outside/Inside for MacBook Air for review, and I was so thrilled with the product. First of all, you have to understand that this is way more than just a decorative sticker. It actually adds some protection from dings and scratches, and really helps in the trackpad area, where it's common to have issues from the oils on your skin. And, it's easy to apply. I mean very easy! It literally took me all of 5 minutes to get the skin applied to the outside, inside, and trackpad areas of my Mac. I got the outside piece about halfway on, and realized it wasn't aligned properly-no problem though, simply pull it off and start o

WorkIt Wednesday : FlipBelt Review!

Hello Neighbors! How is everyone doing this morning?  I am doing great!  We have set up and put into use a new schedule, so I wanted to get this written up and published this morning.  I will also be getting up a half hour earlier, to get in a morning run with my FlipBelt .   Not sure what a FlipBelt is?  Here is some information taken from their website... " Gone are the days of baggy sweat pants with bulky pockets. Active wear is sleeker and more stylish than ever before. The only problem is there’s nowhere to hold your phone, music and keys. That’s where FlipBelt comes in. Who would have thought a singular tubular waistband could solve one of the biggest nuisances that athletes face—where to tuck must-have items while exercising.   Every bit as flattering and contoured as the rest of today’s athletic wear, FlipBelt is designed to carry your on-the-go essentials without tying up your hands. Made of a moisture-wicking, spandex-lycra blend, FlipBelt slides right on and si

Gildan for Socks and Such! #GiftIdea

Hey neighbors! Here's another really good #GiftIdea!  Who doesn't need socks or underclothing?   Gildan has both!  I received some super nice ladies ankle socks, a package of men's Crew socks, a ladies T-shirt and some ladies hi-cut underwear. I personally do not wear ankle socks out like my daughters do, but I love them around the house to keep my feet warm!  I also like that they have pink on the heel and toes because that means my sons and my husband will not wear them. LOL!  These socks are quite comfortable. My daughter claimed the t-shirt.  She looks pretty good in it!  It is nice and soft.  The color is nice too. :)  This is a v-neck t-shirt with a taped neck and shoulders for better durability. The ladies hi-cut underwear are pretty nice too.  I like that the elastic in the leg are encased.  Some people react to the exposed elastic and this helps prevent that.  The cute lacy elastic around the waistband is a nice, feminine touch. The m

Monkeying Around Dot to Dot Books Fun #GiftIdea

Hey neighbors! Here is a fun gift idea for all ages.   Monkeying Around makes the most spectacular Dot to Dot books I have ever seen.  I am not talking your average run of the mill dot to dots, but some truly amazing dot to dots. The easiest are probably the original The Greatest Dot to Dot Books (#1 - #4).   To me they seem to start out easy and slowly increase in difficulty.  Next up would be the Super Challenge Books (#5 - #8).  Then you have the Adventure Dot Books #1 and #2, these two are simply amazing to me.  I am always surprised by the detail in these dot to dot books!  They also carry smaller, Mini Travel Newspaper Books (#1 - #8).  I have not tried any of these, but I am sure the quality is the same as their other books. Monkeying Around has just released their newest book the Adventure Dot Books #2 , and I was given the opportunity to review it!  It just came in Monday and I have already jumped in and started some of the Dot to Dots.  As I stated
