I Need Frego Storage Containers

Hey neighbors!

How about it!  We have been so busy painting a bathroom, re-doing some of our kitchen and it actually lines up with our Sprucing Event!  Hope's Cafe was able to work with Frego on a review/giveaway that I am sure you will enjoy!  Tale a minute to read through the review and then enter the giveaway!

Well, apparently our sprucing up for spring event is running at the perfect time, because we have been doing so much renovating and redecorating this past month! There's something about spring that just makes you want to organize, clean, and remake your entire home and yard. One of the areas we are focusing on is the kitchen. Our kitchen is on the small side, so we have to conserve space and make the most out of every inch. That means if we have items that don't get used much, they're donated to Goodwill. If we can find an item that has dual use, it's quickly added to our kitchen. So when I heard aboutFrego Food Storage containers, I was excited to learn more.

Frego sent me one of their 2-Cup Square containers. This is not just your average food storage container, as I quickly discovered. The container is made of borosilicate glass, which apparently has a much wider range of temperature safety. The Frego containers are safe to use from temps of -40 to 465! I know you're thinking that glass containers wouldn't last long in a household with children, but again, Frego has you covered. The glass container is snugly wrapped in a silicone sleeve that offers better grip ability, and turns the glass into a virtually unbreakable container! Now, combine these 2 materials, and you have a storage container that is incredibly sturdy, easy to grasp and carry, and can be heated in the microwave without any trouble-the silicone prevents burnt fingers!

Additionally, the Frego containers come with a unique SoftSnap lid that provides a seal with both the glass and the silicone. It's airtight, which means your food won't spoil easily, and the lid is also see-through so you can see what's in the container without opening it.

Frego Food Storage containers are perfect for storing leftovers or packing a lunch - anything from soup or salad to meatloaf and mashed potatoes. They are freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe, so they can be used anywhere, and cleaned in the dishwasher-no special care required! Now THAT'S what I call the perfect food storage container!

One of our readers will receive a Frego 2-Cup Square Container!!

Check that out!  I am putting some of these containers on my want list!  We are constantly storing leftovers and then heating them up later!  They are perfect for when there is only enough left for one.  Anyway, enjoy the giveaway!  Thanks for stopping in.  See you soon.

I learned that they are glass bowls that are made shatterproof by the inclusion of a silicone sleeve.

I'm trying to move away from plastic containers to glass, but I've never seen the silicone around one like this. Unique and handy!

I think the silicon sleeve and the SoftSnap lid make this product unique.
You can heat foods in their containers without the worry of chemicals leaking from the plastic into your food like some other plastics. (And we wonder why we become ill)
I also learned you can also use in the oven.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
