Big Fish Games Giveaway!

Hi Neighbors!

As you know we are going to be focusing on fun things to do for a Family Fun Night.  As a general rule I don't think of computer games as something you can do for a family fun night, but I have to tell you, years ago my two older daughters and I used to do mystery games together for fun.  We would have snacks and all sit together and figure out the puzzles and clues.  It was actually quite a bit of fun and we were interacting not just sitting there in a stupor.  Big Fish Games has some excellent games for this type of activity.  Some are seek and finds and of course they have some mysteries too.

When they offered the opportunity to try one of their pc games, I let my daughter choose one.  She decided on Avenue Flo Special Delivery.   M had fun playing this game.  she is 13 and occasionally needed a little help.  The game has more hints than the first one.  Also if a certain puzzle is too difficult it allowed you to skip it.  She did manage to complete the game! :)

Here is a little about the game from Big Fish Games:
The DinerTown family is growing! Join Flo and the cast in Avenue Flo: Special Delivery, the sequel to the quirkiest Adventure game ever. Vickys due date is fast approachingand so is the baby shower extravaganza Quinn is planning. Run across town with Flo, collecting missing items for the DinerTown characters in need, in order to save the towns highly anticipated celebration and become a hero!

Big Fish games is constantly running specials.  They have PC games, Mac games, online games, iPad and iPhone games along with Android games.  It is extremely easy to purchase and download games.  Many of the games have a short trial period where you can do a quick trial run and see if you will really like the game.

Big Fish Games also gave us two codes to giveaway, So, 2 neighbors will each receive one code for a free game!

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this review.  I did receive product for review purposes.  All quotes in red are taken from the sponsor's email or website.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love the Diner Dash games, but haven't had a chance to play Avenue Flo Special Delivery yet. (Didn't even know it was out until I read this blog post!) I'd also like to try out Burger Bustle: Ellie's Organics... time management games are great for lazy days!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was.
