The Tie Bar - Ties for All

Hey Neighbors!

Well, it is the last minute push now to purchase gifts.  How many of you still need to shop for hubby?  Or maybe the children are still looking for a special gift for dad.  What about a tie?  I know, I know all the old thoughts of let's just get dad a tie, start going through your head.  Or maybe the the old joke, all dad or hubby received was another tie, but The Tie Bar is more than another tie!  Oh yes, they have neck ties, bow ties and even skinny ties, my son's favorite, but they also have pocket squares, socks, and accessories like tie bars, cuff links, suspenders and even scarves.  The Tie is a one stop shop for the well dressed man.  They even have their "favorite looks" page where they put together some products that really look great paired up.  Below are a couple of samples.

So, I received a favorite look and a scarf.  My son loves the GQ'd Up.  He modeled it for the pics.  We also have the Gold Coast Glen Scarf in Charcoal/Tan.  With the GQ'd up collection you receive a sharp looking tie, a silver tie bar and a pocket square to complete the look.  He was really impressed with the "total" look and the quality.  Both of my sons are required to wear dress clothes to work, as one works at an upscale department store and the other is employed at a bank.  Ties are required at both jobs.  Check out the look!

Now, the scarf I had my husband in the pics because I am giving the scarf as a gift to my son.  He has been searching for just the right scarf and I think this one is it!  He is quite picky over the one he wants, so when I saw the Gold Coast Glen in charcoal/tan I knew I had the one.  I know he is going to be pleased!  This tie will go with just about anything he chooses to wear.  I like the pattern and colors!  It is apparently a favorite at The Tie Bar because it is presently out of stock.  I think my husband wants one now too!

Be sure and check them out for the holidays!  Until the 19th they have free shipping on orders over $60.  Normally they have a flat rate shipping of $5.99.  So stop by and get dad or hubby a tie for the holidays.  He'll love it!

You can find them on Facebook - HERE  and on Twitter - HERE.  Make sure you follow them, to keep updated on what is happening at The Tie Bar.

The Tie Bar will be sending the winner of this giveaway a set like our GQ'd Up.  Be sure to enter, tweet, and share this giveaway!  Please realize the winner will not receive this before the holidays.

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive product for review purposes.  All quotes in red are taken from the sponsor's website or email.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
