New Peeps!

Hi neighbors!

I am sure you all know what Peeps are!  Those really cute little chicks.  Well, now Peeps are available in new shapes, colors and even flavors!  These are so cute!  You can choose from the chicks, trees, gingerbread men, snowmen, or stars.  They even have a Peep Pop. (See below.)

Look at how cute each one of these are!  Perfect for winter get togethers or parties.  They could be additions to a treat bag you are giving away.  I am thinking S'mores or floating in hot cocoa.

The stars above are peppermint flavored and the little gingerbread men are of course gingerbread flavored.  They really smell good too!

The chocolate covered mint marshmallow trees below were a favorite.  I had to make them share them, so everyone had a little taste.

You can make a nice little display on a plate with all the different shapes available.

This little chick is dipped in chocolate.  We chose this one and the snowmen to float in a cup of hot cocoa.  The stars would probably be nice too!

The little gingerbread men would look good beside a candy cottage.  You know, the little houses you build out of gingerbread and then decorate.  Wouldn't they look great there?  The snowmen could be placed by the house too!  I am really thinking about building one now and using the gingerbread men, snowmen and trees.  Maybe I can figure a way to put a star in the sky.  If I can do this, I will share a picture when I am done.

I snapped a quick picture of my daughter snacking on the chocolate covered, mint flavored tree.  The marshmallow inside is green.

My younger M received the Peep Pop!  She humanely bit off the head first.

If you have another idea on a way to incorporate Peeps into your holidays, be sure to leave a comment and share it with us.

So, when you go shopping for your child's holiday party, or even adult get together, don't forget the holiday Peeps.  They will be available at drug stores, grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide starting Nov. 1st. Have a great weekend!  See you soon, At the Fence!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going.
