Chick-fil-a Dwarf House Plus a Giveaway!

Hey neighbors!

Here is a place we visited on our trip, that I just had to share with you.  How many of you have ever been to a Chick-fil-a Dwarf House?  This was our very first time.  Being diabetic, I was unable to eat breakfast at the campground, so we ran out each morning to grab something small.  We chose Chick-fil-a one morning and when we pulled up the GPS a Dwarf House was the closest.

We had visited the original Chick-fil-a few years ago, but this Dwarf House was a new one for us.  You can either use the drive thru, order regular Chick-fil-a at the counter, or you can actually sit down and be waited on.  They bring your meal to you on regular plates, not plastic.  There is also a breakfast buffet.  Wow!  We were in a hurry, so we were unable to try the buffet, but I promise you I will try it the next time we pass through Georgia.  Look at the pictures below.

One of the employees told me the Dwarf Houses are only in Georgia.  My children are all wanting to visit one now.  So, in honor of our trip and the Chick-fil-a Dwarf House, my husband purchased a $5 Chick-fil-a gift card for a giveaway!  WOW!

Enjoy the pictures and then go ahead and enter!  The Cows think this is Moo-velous!  Eat Mor Chikin!

I like the original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. The Dwarf House looks nice. I've only been to Chick-fil-a in the food courts in the malls.
Thanks!

I love the 3 piece chicken with carrot slaw. We lived in Georgia and would go to the Dwarf House in Hapeville Georgia and Truett Cathy the founder of Dwarf House, bought the last Ford made at the plant in Hapeville because he said the Ford Workers made the Dwarf House what it was, my boys loved going in thelittle door out front. The area has really went down hill I don't know if it is still there or not was off 19-41 off I 75. Thanks for the memories.

Their original salads were my all time favorite, but they changed them a few monthsago. They are still good if you change them up....adding strips to the Asian salad and it's a great salad and similar to the original. Love their chicken in general, it's so much Better than chicken from any other fast food place. Thanks for the chance to win. I'd use this towards a salad I win.

Their original salads were my absolute favorite but they changed them a few months ago. Adding chicken strips to the Asian one though makes it almost as good and is my new fav. Love their chicken in general it's so much better than any other fast food chicken. Thanks for the chance to win, I'll be using it towards a salad if I win!

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
