Pansy Book Downloads for Kindle! FREE

Hi Neighbors!

Many of you know that Pansy is my favorite author.  She was a Pastor's wife who wrote books in the late 1800's to early 1900's.  Her stories are some of the very best I have ever read.  They teach strong Christian principles and beliefs.  She has books for young and old alike!  The very first book I ever read of hers was a re-print I found at the local library.  I was totally amazed that I was able to purchase many of her hardbacks from the late 1800's and early 1900's.  I have quite a collection of them now.  All of my children have read many of her books over and over again.

I am happy to share with you, that some of her books are available as Kindle downloads on Amazon, for free no less!  If you are interested in trying one of her books, this is the perfect chance to do so.  Of course, even if you already read her books, you might want to download them also!  We did!

Here is a list of the books by Pansy (Isabella Alden) that I found:
Four Girls at Chautauqua
The Chautauqua Girls at Home
Sunshine Factory
Divers Women (This was co-authored with C. M. Livingston)
Ester Ried (One of my favorites!)
Three People (About the dangers of alcohol.)
Ester Ried Yet Speaking
Tip Lewis and His Lamp

Available for $0.99
The King's Daughter
Wise and Otherwise

There are a few others on Amazon that are illustrated and I believe there is also a collection, that cost a little more.  Try one of the free ones first and see what you think.  If you do try one, come back and leave a comment and let me know.  Or if you already read her books feel free to tell me what you think, or maybe share the title of your favorite.  The pictures are just a few of my collection.

Have a great day!  See you soon, At the Fence!

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
