Back to School with Kidorable!

Hello Neighbors!

Good to see you out and about today!  Here is one more fantastic Back to School item.  We received a ladybug backpack and umbrella from Kidorable!  They are so cute!  Of course Kidorable carries many other matching pieces, like a raincoat, boots, and even a towel.  I personally think these are some of the cutest umbrellas for children I have ever seen.

My daughter modeled these for us, but we are going to give them to a cute little girl we know.  My daughter had a great time in her "photo shoot".

Let me tell you about the children's backpack first.  Obviously it is a ladybug color and design.  It has two little wing pockets.  On the top which zippers open and shut there are two little eyes and antennae at the back.  The Ladybug Backpack has shoulder straps and a loop at the top for hanging up.  The zipper pull is a vinyl stuffed ladybug.  Inside is lined with a soft, 100% nylon material.

On to the matching umbrella.   What little girl would not find the ladybug handle adorable? When opened there are eyes that pop out.  Of course the color is red and black!

So neighbors, what do you think of the Kidorable Backpack and Umbrella?  Let me tell you a little about Kidorable and then we will get to the giveaway.

Kidorable:

In 1997, Kidorable sprung from the minds, hearts and efficiency apartment of Liping and Jonathan Domsky. They proclaimed, "The world needs someone to create children's apparel and accessories that are both functional and fun. We can do that."
And so Kidorable was conceived. Starting with lions and cats and bears, oh my, manifested as umbrellas and hangers, Kidorable generated enough sales during its first year to break even and plant fruitful Kidorable seeds throughout the land. The following year sales grew ten fold. Every year since, give or take, a new style and/or product line debuted. And every year, the world joyfully embraced more Kidorable delights, give or take, than the year before.

You can read more about Kidorable on their website.

To help start the school year off, Kidorable is giving one neighbor their choice of umbrella.  Be sure to visit their site and see what they have available to choose from.  Take a minute to follow them on their social media also.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
