Popar 3D Books!

Hi Neighbors!

OK.  This is not part of the Baby Shower Event, but it is a really neat book!  The book is from Popar and they have several of them available right now.  We chose the Princess and Her Pals, Chasing Rainbows.  This is a virtual, interactive, popup book.

Using the App for the book, you actually hear and see the princesses interacting with their pets and each other.  This is truly amazing.  You need a mobile device, or a computer with a webcam.  After you download the App and the appropriate story, your child will be able to explore to their hearts content.  Yes, there are books created with boys in mind.  There is one about bugs, construction machines and planets.

Just listen to this:
“In today's world of new gadgets and gizmos being released every week it's getting pretty hard to wow anyone anymore. Be prepared to be wowed.” When a review from The National Parenting Center starts like that, you just have to read on.  These are the educators, parents and child judges who see the next big thing every day; I think it’s safe to say they know what they’re talking about.  TNPC judges have probably seen princess-themed everything by this point.  Which is why when the TNPC bestowed its highest honor, The Spring 2013 Seal of Approval, to Popar™ Toys' Princess And Her Pals 3D Book parents of little girls everywhere pay attention.

The images look amazing and you can interact somewhat with them, spinning and turning.  These books are sure to be a hit with youngsters everywhere.  I took a few pictures with my camera and then I used the iPad to take some also.  I hope you can see the 3D effect.

Using the iPad your child hears the story read to them, and they can watch in 3D.  They can spin and move the 3D figures around.  It really is amazing to see!

In both the picture above and the one below you can see a portion of the book and my dining room table behind the 3D animation.

In the scenes below your child will see the princesses dancing in the garden.

The books from Popar will be a blast for any child!  These books would make great gifts!  Below is a short video clip.  Prepare to be wowed!

Simply Amazing!  One neighbor will receive their choice of Popar Books. Princess and Her Pals 3D Book, Bugs 3D Book or Construction Machines 3D Book.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
