Renting College Textbooks!

Hey neighbors!

I don't know how many of you attend college, or have children that do, but you might want to consider renting textbooks!  If you are interested take a minute to check out CampusBookRentals.com.  Here are just a few of the perks:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
-we donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

Why not plan on saving by renting textbooks instead of purchasing them.  How many of you have gone to a thrift store or yard sale and seen textbooks out for $1-$2.  You know they are not making back the money put out on those books.

Once you have a list of the books needed just visit the CampusBookRentals.com site and enter the title or ISBN # for the book you need.  Take some time to compare and see just how much you could save.

Also, they have a sister site where you can rent out your textbooks.  It is called RentBack.com.  you can use their search to find out what your college books are worth, and if they are needed.  Then you can rent your books out!  Seems pretty simple and easy to do.  Your books can be rented more than once, and you make money each time they are rented out.

And remember when you rent a textbook from CampusBookRentals.com you are helping someone through Operation Smile!  Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that provides free surgeries to repair cleft palate, cleft lip, and other facial deformities for children around the world.

Are Big Dogs A Bigger Responsibility?

Image Source Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. When opting to own a bigger breed, there are clearly going to be some differences in owning a Chihuahua. However, how big are these differences? Is the responsibility far greater with a humungous hound? Or are there some bonuses to having a big bow-wow-ing beast? Diet Big dogs do require a different diet then small dogs, not just in terms of portion size but nutrients too. They often need a greater amount of protein, especially as a pup when they are growing. This higher protein food costs more, and given that you’ll be serving up higher portions, you’ll go through a lot more dog food with a big breed than you would with a small breed. There are also other factors to consider. Big dogs are often more likely to contract allergies to certain foods. This can sometimes mean buying hypoallergenic dog food , which is unsurprisingly more expensive. It’s also recommended using a raised dog bowl once a big dog reaches adulthood.
