Hi Neighbors!
Here is a recipe we tried this weekend and the family LOVED it! It is a Beef Stroganoff that is simple and easy to make. If you would like to try it sometime, here is what you need:
1 Pound of Ground Beef
2 cups of Water
3 cups (6 ounces) Egg Noodles
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 pound (12 ounces) Velveeta Cheese
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
First you brown your ground beef. Drain your ground beef and return it to your skillet. I changed mine over to a larger pot because I tripled mine. You add the water to your pan and bring it to a boil. Add your egg noodles, cover and lower the heat. Cook for 8 minutes.
Next add your Cream of Mushroom Soup and pepper. Stir it in.
Now slowly add the Velveeta Cheese. We sliced ours into chunks ahead of time. Do watch your heat so it doesn't burn to the bottom. I lowered the heat on mine and stirred it quite a bit until the cheese melted.
The mixture slowly thickens. It smells GREAT! Finish melting the cheese and then serve it up! We served ours with some bread and butter and a side dish of broccoli.
What do you think? Try it out and ENJOY!
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon At the Fence!
