Fun with Puppets!

Hey Neighbors!

My daughter thinks this one is alot of fun!  They are called "Puppet Monsters" ($19.95)!  Now we personally don't have monsters in our house, but these are cute, adorable, furry puppets that can be anything your child's imagination would like them to be.  I mean with choices like silly Dragon, Dizzy Antlers, Big Beak, Twinkley Eyes, Jumbo Eyes or Mr. Mustache, I do not think monster.  We chose the pink and purple Twinkley Eyes.  She looks like a little bunny or cat maybe.

The puppets come in a variety of colors and facial expressions.  They also come with a little cloth case you can carry them in. Puppets encourage children to use their own minds and imagination to play.  I much prefer toys that are not based on a TV show, movie, or even a book, because my child then plays with no preconceived ideas for the toy.  These puppets sit on the child's head and then each hand of the puppet has a little slot for them to insert a finger or two so they can move the hands.

Another really neat thing is you can purchase accessories for the puppets.  Their eyes, ears, nose, arms and tail are removable, so that you can swap them out and change them around. There are extra spots on the puppet where you can attach the features in funny places!  The accessory sets include other features for you to use on your puppet and are free with an extra  $6.95 postage and handling fee. The Accessory Kits available are:Funny Duck, Furry Octopus, Funky Mohawk, Wacky Bear, 3 Eyed Monster and Hot Lips.

Are they cute?  Yes!  Are they fun?  Sure are!  My daughters had so much fun goofing around and posing with the puppet.  I might need to get one more!  What a great idea to provide entertainment for your children, that does not include plopping them down in front of a TV or computer.  I hope you enjoyed the slideshow!  Oh!  And neighbors here At the Fence can receive $5 off their purchase of a Puppet Monster by using the PROMO code: PUPPET.

The winner of this giveaway will receive one Puppet Monster!  Hurry up and enter right away!  Then go and tell someone else!

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive a product for review purposes.  All quotes in red are taken from the sponsor's website or email.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back. 10 Things You Need To Do Before Moving Abroad

From There is nothing more fulfilling than travelling the world and visiting new and exciting places. If you’re a fan of travel , then you might have thought about moving abroad at some point. Unfortunately, there is a lot to do before you can get on the plane, with finding accommodations and a job being the most important. If you’re moving abroad soon, or think that it’s something that you’d like to do in the future, then here are ten things that you need to do before you start your new life. 1. Visit The Country Plenty of people move abroad without visiting the country first. Although this is fine to do, as long as you’ve done plenty of research on the country, it makes much more sense to visit the country first. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
