At the Fence Page Design

Hi Neighbors!

I am really hoping to see At the Fence grow more this year.  We have been at this for three years now.  Several ways for At the Fence to grow include:more followers, more reviews and giveaways and of course we need to increase our social media standing.  My daughter did our business Facebook page design.  She LOVES creating designs for Facebook, Twitter, websites, buttons, etc.

Many of you know she designed the At the Fence background, along with most of my buttons.  She has also designed pages for herself along with another site I have just started working on.  She is fast becoming a pro at designing things.  She has considered starting a site where she offers to help others with designs.

Anyway, back to At the Fence.  I really need everyones help this year at promoting At the Fence.  If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me or to leave a comment.  The more we can build At the Fence, the better products we will be able to review and offer as giveaways.  Is there something we should add to our page, or maybe you see some things we need to remove or change.  Obviously we will not please everyone, but I would like some feedback.

Are there any other social sites we need to include?  We have a Pinterest page, but have not done much with it. Should we do more?  Or is this just a distraction?  I will be honest with you, sometimes I feel like there is just too much out there as far as social media.  We have considered spending one day a week sharing pictures, which could then be pinned, but I am not sure.

I hope you are enjoying the Meeting Monday, and I would love for more of you to participate.  I have a few opening in February and would love to fill them in.  I would like this to continue throughout the year, but it will be based on interest and response.

We have also talked about adding recipe sharing occasionally, but I don't want to stray too much, or add so much that the site becomes too busy.  What do you think?  How about the page design?  Do you like how we use the theme on our other pages?  Should we change the look?  Please share your thoughts.

Disclosure:This is a sponsored post, however all thoughts and opinions are mine.

I agree that too much social media can make a person nuts. I know some use Stumbled, but I haven't figured out how that all works. I like the current content/design/outlets. I'm not sure I'd want much to change.

You can pin some of your recipes and share those as well or pin some of the things you do with homeschooling. I hope this helps.

One other thing I've seen is how blogs grow and/or get more followers is by participating in blog hops.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
