Sweet Tomatoes Dallas Texas

 Hi Neighbors!

All of you are aware that Sweet Tomatoes is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are traveling.  There are none right near our home, so when we make a trip, we try to include Sweet Tomatoes in our plans.  My son (17) has always liked Sweet Tomatoes, but recently he has become a salad fanatic, so of course he was excited about our planned visit to Sweet Tomatoes.

Have any of my neighbors ever been to a Sweet Tomatoes or Souplantation?  This is the perfect restaurant if you are craving a fresh salad.  The best part is, that it is all organic and freshly prepared that day.

Look at the length of the Salad Bar.

Certified Green!

When you first enter Sweet Tomatoes, you grab a tray and plate and begin your journey down a salad bar filled with all sorts of salad items.  You have your choice of a few premade salads, now when I say pre-made, I mean they are mixed up right there, that day.

Tarragon Chicken &Arugula

Next you can choose from Iceberg, Romaine, or a few other greens to start your own salad.  From there you move on to cucumbers, onions, green peppers, olives, carrots, squash, rotelle pasta, cheese, sprouts, and much, much more.  I was sad to hear that they no longer carry their premium toppings, which although you have to pay a little extra, I always chose these.  They included some meat you could add to your salad.

So many choices!

How can you decide?

There are some potato salads, broccoli salad and a few others you can add to your heaping plate, if you have room.

Filling his plate!

Now, as if this wasn't enough, after you fix your salad and find a place to sit down, you can add from a variety of soups, baked potato, chili, and a few bread choices.  They also have a beverage bar, where you can choose from several juices, soda, and milk.  And of course they have dessert.  My husband and son both had ice cream!

A little about Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes:

The very first Souplantation brought delicious, healthy dining to San Diego in March 1978. Industry experts credit us as being the first casual eatery brand to serve fresh, wholesome menu options.
In 1983, Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. was founded by Michael Mack through the acquisition of the first two Souplantation restaurants. As we continued to grow, we began to pursue growth beyond our core Southern California markets. In order to enhance our brand and reflect our dedication to fresh, wholesome ingredients, we adopted the name Sweet Tomatoes for new restaurants outside Southern California.
With 112 company-owned restaurants in 15 states, over 300 million guests since 1978 have helped us to be #1 in fresh produce and salads, made-from-scratch soups, hot-tossed pastas, freshly baked breads and muffins, fresh fruit, frozen yogurt, and more.
We pride ourselves on offering an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience where each of our guests can create a meal tailored to their needs. Of course, you can count on fresh, high-quality ingredients and daily made-from-scratch menu items.

Fresh!   This salad is fresh!

My husband liked their Cream of Mushroom Soup.

Dessert!

I also want to stress here, how nice and clean Sweet Tomatoes always looks.  Yes, sometimes they are very busy, and we have had to ask for a table to be cleared, but they are always quick to do this for us.  I am talking about the overall appearance inside.  It is clean and the employees are polite.

Sweet Tomatoes also does catering.  So if you have an office party approaching, or perhaps a party planned at home, you might want to check with your local Sweet Tomatoes and see what they have to offer.

Now, here is some really great news for my neighbors!  One neighbor will receive two passes for Sweet Tomatoes.  This is for the meal only and does not include beverages.

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive passes for Sweet Tomatoes.  All quotes in red are taken from the sponsor's website or email.  All thoughts and opinions are mine.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.
