Family Fun and Lang Puzzles!

Lang Puzzle
Hey neighbors!

Here is another really neat family fun time event!  As you know we love to do puzzles.  I actually like to work on them and then have them sit around where we can stop and put pieces in any time we can grab a minute.  Lang sent us this really nice snowman puzzle.  We actually finished it in one day, with a little help from a friend.

Finding the edges!

Working hard!

Getting there!

Their box is nice because the lid is set up where it will stay in an upright position for looking at while you work on the puzzle.  Nice!  I really like this!  Thanks Lang!  All too often we are trying to balance the box lid so we can view it while working. Lang puzzles are gorgeous!

Love the box!

Finished the puzzle!

We followed our routine on this one of doing all the edges first.  There were two we could not find until we were quite a ways into the puzzle.  The hardest part of the puzzle was near the top, with all the trees and then at the bottom with all the snow.

Little snowman!
We had company over the weekend and she stated she was not going to help, but it only took a few minutes of watching me work before she pulled up a chair to help.  She was hooked!  We worked on it for several hours off and on.  We put it away for dinner and shortly after clearing the table, she asked if we could work on it again.  We finished it that evening!

Large snowman!
Now, I just have to buy some puzzle glue.  No way am I going to take this thing apart after working so hard and so long!  Take a look at the details in this puzzle.  We did have a bit of confusion putting the birds in the puzzle.

Birds in a nest.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
