Faber-Castell's Creativity for Kids! Party Time!

Ready for a girl's party!
Hey Neighbors!

I was chosen to host a Creativity for Kids Party.  Now, I have to tell you that the hardest part was keeping my daughter out of the boxes as they arrived.  She LOVES crafts!  Anyway we planned to do the party on our back deck, but wouldn't you know, just about the time we got all set up it started to rain.  Can you say, "Inside crafts!"  Everyone grabbed everything and brought it inside.

We tried just about everything in the box and took so many pictures that we decided to just do a slide show.  We added music so you can enjoy seeing all the arts and crafts Creativity for Kids sent us!  It was super fun!  Everyone came away with a craft of some kind that they had worked on.

Included in the party:
Tie Dye Bandanas
Fashion Bracelets
Fashion Headbands
Deluxe Glitter Art
Pop up Books
Fun With Fashion Activity Book
Tote Bags
Pop-Art Necklaces
Aprons (To keep clothing clean!)

What fun was had by all!  I do recommend that only older children be allowed to do the Tie Dye Bandanas without adult supervision.  It can create a mess if not supervised.  These kits are super easy and great fun!  My daughter especially enjoyed making the headbands and bracelets!

Of course we included snacks, like pizza, chips and salsa, and Sonic drinks!  I believe everyone had a fun time!  One of my older daughters even liked the Tie Dye Bandanas!

These Creativity for Kids craft kits are perfect for rainy days (don't you know!), family fun nights, play days, girl's nights, sleepovers, whatever comes to mind!  And they are designed for varying ages, so everyone can have fun!  Be sure to look for Creativity for Kids Craft Kits!  And then "Like" Creativity for Kids on Facebook, so you can keep up with all the fun!

Now the great news is, because there were so many crafts and everyone did different ones...I still have a couple left over and would love for one of my neighbors to enjoy them.  So I am putting together 1 Fun with Fashion Coloring and Activity Book, 1 Tie Dye Bandana and I will include 1 extra surprise from our leftovers.  Perfect!

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive a huge box of Creativity for Kids Craft Kits for review purposes in conjunction with Mommy Parties.  All quotes in red are from the Creativity for Kids website.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
