My Daughters and Christian Keyboarding!

Hello neighbors,
Christian Keyboarding is our latest curriculum for review.  Both of my daughters used this program.  One helps me with my website here, and they both have their own blogs.  On top of that the youngest likes to write stories and plays, so I thought this would be perfect for them.  And they have definitely had fun working this one.

For this program we again printed off the pages for them, but these I did a couple of lessons at a time.  They sort of need them beside them to type from.  This was an easy to use program and with more and more jobs requiring computer skills this is definitely a program you will want to check into.

Both my daughters were laughing over the first few lessons where they are taught proper positioning of their hands and which fingers covered which keys.  Soon they were typing away!  They have not completed the course, but they have reached the portion where they are typing out Bible verses.  I really appreciate this from the company.

Here is a little about how/why Christian Keyboarding was started:
As Leanne was teaching in the private school arena; she noticed a need for Christian material for the computer courses since the only ones were Glencoe, Century 21, and Mavis Beacon software.  Through a diligent search; there was no suitable curriculum which demonstrated proper touch-typing methods, offered MLA and APA report formatting, and had Biblical-based references and material for students to copy.  Thus, Christian Keyboarding was formed combining the elements needed to satisfy state education requirements and Biblical references for the private school requirements.

You can purchase Christian Keyboarding package deal on their website for $22.  This includes:
Keyboarding for the Christian School, Revised Edition and the Elementary Edition.

I am very satisfied with this program and will continue to use it.  there is an Elementary Program available also!
