Kong Makes Play, Fun!

Hello Neighbors!

I truly hope you are enjoying this Pet's on Parade Event as much as we are!  We still have more to come!  I have a feeling my neighbors are going to really enjoy this one from Kong!  I am sure you have heard of them before, but I was not aware of all they have to offer!We have had so much fun trying these out!

First off we received two different size Kong Traxx.  They look like miniature tires!  They are designed for power chewers.  Along with the Traxx we received Kong Stuff'N a Yogurt Spread to squirt inside the Traxx.  What a GREAT way to entertain your pet.  I just have to share we let the puppies try the yogurt in the smaller Traxx.  It was so funny to watch them trying to lick it all out!

Then there is the Kong Easy Freeze!  Perfect for these hot summer days.  There are different mixes you mix up and then pour into the tray to freeze for your dog.  We received Chicken Soup, White Cheddar Cheese and Sweet Potato Maple.  They are all natural treats.  Our tray, which is the medium/large, makes 16 frozen treats.  Let your dog enjoy one as a treat on a sunny afternoon, or place inside a Kong Toy, or even put one on top of their dry food to add moisture.

Another great Kong item is the ZoomGroom.  Perfect for removing loose hair or just a quick rub down.  The Zoom Groom will massage your pet's skin!  Although this one has a dog design, it is GREAT for cats too!

For our kitty we were able to try out their Kong Kickeroo, a cute lightweight stuffed denim toy with a long fluffy black tail.  The Kickeroo has a small pocket that holds catnip.  Duma loves hers!

Our pets are all sold on Kong!  We will definitely be making more frozen treats!  And the pups love the Yogurt Spread in the Traxx!



About how Kong got it's start:
Our founder, Joe Markham, loved his retired police dog, Fritz, but did not love his destructive chewing habits. Where other dogs might have chewed your shoes or favorite purse, Fritz loved to crunch on rocks, sticks and other harmful items. Fritz’s teeth were wearing down and his need for stimulation and play was not being met, and Joe was frustrated.

One day, while working on a VW Bus, Joe began throwing out car parts to Fritz to lure him away from those rocks. Fritz was immediately taken with a rubber suspension part and dropped it in Joe’s lap to play. The erratic bounce and toughness of the rubber inspired Joe.
