Hello Neighbors!

How is everyone?  We are all doing good here and the weather is great!  We have been planning for different trips we will be taking and one of them is to Florida!  Several people in my family were born in Florida and we love visiting.  Not to mention all the friends we have that live there.  We used to beg to visit Florida in the Summer because then we could go swimming and not freeze!

Speaking of visiting Florida... VISIT FLORIDA is having a sweepstakes!  It is called the Florida’s Three for Free Giveaway.  You enter for a chance to win not one - but three vacations to Florida!  To enter you will choose three vacation packages (out of twelve).  One Winner will be randomly selected and they will win the three Florida Packages they chose!  Additionaly nine more winners will be chosen to receive one of the nine vacation packages left.  You can enter to their website or on you can go to  VISIT FLORIDA on Facebook and enter there!  This runs (starting Memorial Day Weekend) through June 30th and you can enter daily!

There are several of the vacation packages that my family was interested in.  Our choices are :

Swim with the Manatees - this includes four nights at the Plantation on Crystal River, a guided Manatee Tour, lunch on a private Pontoon Boat, and tickets to the Homasassa Springs State Park!

Tennis Lovers Gourmet Getaway : with this you get a four night stay at a Resort, a one-hour private tennis lesson, a Cooking Class, and a $250 Shopping Spree!

Natural Florida : If you choose this vacation package you will stay at a Beach Resort for three nights, explore on Bicycle and Segway, and then learn to swim with horses and horse surf.

Those are just some ideas of the vacation packages.  Others include... Family Adventure, Space Cowboy, Trainer for a Day, The Breakers Luxury Dream Vacation, Ultimate Spa-cation, Tee Time for Two, Classic Family Beach Week, Step Into the Past, and Florida Keys Fishing.

The three vacation packages I chose when I won are : 1.  The Step Into the Past (sponsored by Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth)  - My whole family really enjoys history but my little sister really likes it so this would be perfect.  2.  Family Adventure (sponsored by - This is another thing the whole family would really enjoy.  3.  Tennis Lovers Gourmet Getaway (sponsored by Resort Quest) - My sister really wants to learn how to play Tennis.  We play Racquetball, etc. but she is really interested in learning how to play Tennis.

Make sure you go enter!  Leave a comment and let me know what vacation packages you entered for.

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. This way you can get used to the culture, and will know in advance whether or not the country is somewhere that you’d actually like to live. 2. Research The Country You need to do lots of research before you move abroad, especially if you haven’t visited the count
