Visit for more on Cottonelle toilet paper,
flushable wipes, coupons, and more.

Hello Neighbors!

OK, to start off this is not something you normally go around discussing, but Cottonelle has a new Clean Care Routine and they have a Facebook contest going on to name the routine.  What would you call that extra clean feeling you get after using Cottonelle Ultra Comfort Care Toilet Paper along with Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes?

Now I want to be mention something here, I have wondered before why we did not have a wipe created for adults.  I mean, if you are completely honest, you know there are times a moist wipe would just be helpful and allow you to feel fresher. I think of days we are traveling and spend the whole day in the vehicle. So, now you have the opportunity to experience that fresh, clean feeling with Cottonelle Comfort Care Toilet Paper and Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes.  Using the two together just makes sense.  And if you like you can enter the Cottonelle Facebook contest going on to Name It!  What would you call a routine that leaves you feeling cleaner?

With spring in mind and the thought of feeling fresher, what are you doing to freshen up your home?  Are you added some spring touches?  Sprucing up a room?  Maybe doing a little painting!  We are re-doing some of our kitchen and adding a deck out back.  I can't wait to get it all done.  The kitchen will look super great after we add some more counter space along with a few new cupboards.  Right now we have an older china cabinet that I can't wait to replace.  It will actually gives us more room to work!

And talk about freshening up, I will be so happy to be able to use the deck out back, it will make the back yard look so much neater.  We are going to have an area for our grill and some chairs and a walkway all the way out to the shed and driveway.  Can't wait for the first time grilling out back there!  Not to mention it will cut down on the amount of dirt and mud that come in my back door.

Of course we are also doing a few small things inside, like adding some new candles, picking up a plant or two, and we have added some new pictures.  Like the really nice canvas my children gave me for Mother's Day!  I am really looking forward to getting all this work done.

So, with fresh on your mind, be sure to enter the Cottonelle contest on Facebook.  There are three ways to get a name  using the Name Generator on Cottonelle's Facebook page:
1. The Randomizer-Just click and get a random name instantly.
2. The Personalizer-Answer a few questions and get a personalized name.
3. The Customizer-Create a name to add to their Book of Names and enter for a chance to win  a year's supply of Cottonelle products.

You can also participate by following @cottonelle on Twitter.  There will be exclusive opportunities to win #NameIt prizes and to see what others have named their routine visit  You will also be able to get fun bathroom trivia.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
