SnuggleTime Petjamas and Snugglebags Review

Gift Guide Post #

Hi Neighbors!

Remember Pillow Pets?  How many of you own one or more of the adorable, snuggly pillows?  We do!  My children take theirs on just about every trip we take.  They use them to nap on in the vehicle, and as an extra pillow wherever we stay!  Now there are some accessories available that work with Pillow Pets and other stuffed animals!  Created by SnuggleTime, Petjamas, are a comfy, soft pair of pajamas for your Pillow Pet and they come with a handle on the back so you can easily carry your Pillow Pet.  And they come in different colors, so you can color co-ordinate with your Pillow Pet, or buy a couple and you can change what they wear.

The Petjamas as I stated before come with a handle so you can carry your Pillow Pet or other plush animal or pillow around.  It also has 2 small pockets on each side of the handle.  There is a small opening for your velcro attachment to pull through, so your Pillow Pet can still fold in half and be a pet.  We also found the little opening for the tail.  It is very easy to put your Petjamas on your Plush pillow or stuffed animal,  as you will see in our short video using a Pillow Pet.   The Petjamas are made of a quilted, super soft, velveteen fabric of 100% polyester.  It is durable and machine washable.  It is perfect for traveling and helping keep your child's favorite travel companion clean.

The Petjamas by SnuggleTime Are $9.99 each and the quilted version comes in 5 different colors.

You can:
Color coordinate your Petjamas with some of the most popular Pillow PetsTM:
  • Strawberry Shortcake with Lady Bug.
  • Black Licorice Twist with Panda and Penguin.
  • Banana Cream Squeeze with Bumble Bee.
  • Chocolate Cuddle Cake with Puppy and Monkey.
  • Pink Princess Plush with Unicorn and Hippo.

This is a really neat gift idea for a child who already owns one of the Pillow Pets, or who is getting one this year.

Next I will tell you about the Snugglebags, also by SnuggleTime.  My daughters were both chattering away about this item.  We received the Dreamsicle Pink and Purple.  It matches their bedroom!  I had to laugh because we just finished doing our daughters bedroom in pink and purple, and it matches perfectly!  Any way, this is a reversible sleep bag for your Pillow Pet type plush animal or pillow.  The zipper runs down one side and around the bottom.  My daughter just slid her's in though as you will see in the video.

The Snugglebags are $12.99 and once again a great gift idea!  I now have another daughter begging for a second one, so they don't have to share!  We will see.

About SnuggleTime:
"SnuggleTimeTM is a woman-owned business, and we come from a large, extended family with lots of brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. Our family get-togethers not only include relatives from near and far, but also a Noah’s Ark of favorite stuffed friends and faithful plush companions. We know children adore stuffed toys and want to take them everywhere. Unfortunately, “everywhere” means taking them in the bathroom, dragging them along the kitchen floor or across the soccer field, or even visiting with friends where household pets can mistake them for their favorite chew toys. We know just how inseparably connected children become with their stuffed toys—from morning until night. We also recognize how important it is to keep these constant companions clean, squeezable and cuddly for the long haul.
That’s why we’ve created a full line of must-have accessories for your children’s favorite plush pillow toys and other plush friends. Created for today’s children on the go, our products offer the perfect snuggly “fit” for your child’s soft and furry friends by combining practicality with ingenuity and a heavy dose of fun.
Any time is snuggle time in our book whether at home, at school or somewhere in between. But, when the day ends, we want to ensure you child and his or her best friend can snuggle and sleep soundly, comfortably and safely—dreaming of the next day’s big adventures. "

Be sure to add SnuggleTime to your sites to visit for gift shopping.  If your children are anything like mine, they will love it!

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive one Petjamas and one Snugglebag.  All quotes are taken from the SnuggleTime email or website.  All thoughts and opinions are mine.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
