Boogie Board Review and Giveaway

Grand Gift Guide At the Fence Post #

Hi Neighbors,

A really nice day today.  Perfect for some visiting out here At the Fence!  Curl up with a blanket and some Hot Chocolate and then come see another great company that is participating in our Grand Gift Guide.  The Boogie Board!

Here is some info about the Boogie Board : "The original Boogie Board tablet that started a revolution. Ultra light (4 oz.) and thin (1/8″). One just isn’t enough. Get one for on the go, in the office and multiple places around the house. Almost anywhere you’d keep memo pads, sticky notes or scrap paper.
  1. Erase your image with the touch of a button – and a friendly flash from the liquid crystal display – COOL!
  2. Sealed 3V watch battery never needs replacing.
  3. The Boogie Board tablet is an ultra 1/8″ thin and is easy to take with you in a purse, scheduler, briefcase or backpack.
  4. The case and LCD are made from durable plastic materials. Safe for school use and all around the house, office and car.
  5. The Boogie Board tablet’s pressure-sensitive LCD writing surface creates lines of different thickness based on how hard you push – just like paper and pen!
  6. Write or draw with the included stainless steel stylus or any other suitable instrument – even your finger! You’ll never need to search for a pen or pencil again!"

We love our Boogie Board!  It is great for taking on trips, waiting at appointments, or anything else where you or your child might get bored.  It is also handy for when my Dad has to write something down but doesn't have any pen or paper.  Boogie Board to the rescue!  Here are some pictures...

It came with a cleaning cloth and a stylus pen.

And a case, a clip on pen holder, and magnets for the back.
Here it is!  In the case with the pen in a little space just for that!

Here is my Boogie Board with the little clip on holder for the pen.

The Boogie Board is a great product.  It would make a wonderful gift!  Anyone would enjoy it.  Check out their website!  You can also Like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter to stay up with the latest news.

I think it's great because it's pressure-sensitive and of course because of all the paper you could save using it for note taking and lists.

I love the obvious thing about it- it reduces paper consumption. I hate having to hunt down paper when I need to write something down. Especially when I'll end up throwing it away later.

I love that it's eco-friendly...no wasting of paper and other things. I also love that it's portable and since I travel a lot to medical treatment appts this would be very handy for me to have.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
