Waterproof Bible Review and Giveaway!

 Gift Guide Post #46

Hi neighbors!

This is a really neat product I have to share today.  Have you ever seen a Waterproof Bible?  This is so unique?  It is extremely durable, with stain resistant pages, ultra clear text, and is great for trips, camping, anywhere you might be where the Bible might get damp, wet, or dirty.  My husband would take mine for his personal use, but mine is pink!  The pages dry quickly, and are much more durable than paper.  It is 100% waterproof.  It will adapt to all sorts of situations.  The water just rolls off the pages!  Take a look at the pictures below.

The Waterproof Bible is published by Bardin Marsee Publishing.  Made with 100% synthetic materials, these are super great!

Their story:
The Waterproof Bible and THE OUTDOOR BIBLE originate from our desire to take God's word into all of His creation, regardless of the weather or circumstances. That is why they are completely waterproof, dry quickly, are much stronger than paper, are usable with writing utensils (ball point pen, pencil, or dry highlighter), and adapt well to all extremes or reading environments (on a rainy campout, in a coffee shop, even in a hot tub. Just as a frog lives on land and in water, the Waterproof Bible and THE OUTDOOR BIBLE thrive in any situation or climate.
As believers in Jesus Christ and a love to be in God's creation and exposed to the elements, we have often desired to have a Bible by our side for reading here and there. Our exploring has led us to mountain tops, river banks, sandy beaches, misty valleys, dark caves, and hot springs, and has caused us to become soaked to the core while backpacking or paddling. I hate to admit that our Bible has not made it with us on many of these occasions for the sake of protecting it and because we don't trust a plastic bag not to puncture. Now we can put an end to all the worrying that we have done in the past about our Bibles and take God's Word wherever our adventures lead.
Wherever life takes you - carry the Waterproof Bible or THE OUTDOOR BIBLE and Be Inspired. Anywhere.

Watch the videos that show some testing I did with the Waterproof Bible.  Under water, dribbling soda, and spilling catsup,  No stains, cleaned up easy and totally usable.  This was great!  My husband has a New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, that we bought him for his birthday.  He loves it for street ministry, because no matter what the weather, he can pull it out and share verses with someone.

The Waterproof Bible comes in several colors and you can get the complete Bible, or just the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs.  The full Bible is $44.95 and the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs is $24.95.  I am telling you this is well worth it!  What a perfect give for a hunter, streetpreacher, missionary, mother, etc.   It is ideal for the mother with little children, who spill and have sticky hands, because it cleans right up!  Be sure to visit their site, and then follow them on Twitter and "Like" them on Facebook.  I LOVE mine!

Bardin Marsee Publishing will be giving the winner of this giveaway a $45 GC to their site.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
