Gorton's Seafood Healthy Eating! Review and Giveaway

I hope you are having a great 4th of July! Hopefully you are not too busy to visit At the Fence for a little while!



I was recently given the opportunity to work with Gorton's Seafood. I was able to choose 3 Gorton's products. We bought the Lemon Herb Crunchy Breaded Fish Filets, the Popcorn Shrimp and Lemon Peppercorn Grilled Tilapia.


My 10 year old actually did the cooking that night, and she did a really good job! Gorton's is one of my family's favorite meals. Not to mention how good seafood is for you! Most of the family ate the Lemon Herb Crunchy Breaded Fish Filets and the Popcorn Shrimp. I saved the Grilled Tilapia for my older daughters as a special treat! They really enjoyed it.

Gorton's seafood makes a quick, easy dinner, that looks and tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen. My husband, 2 older daughters and 1 son love the grilled selections from Gorton's. I personally like the shrimp. Gorton's is reasonably priced also, so we can have it without stretching our budget.


Make sure you check out the page about picky eaters. I really enjoyed reading the article and it had some really great tips for encouraging your children to eat seafood. Fish and seafood are healthy foods and a natural source of lean protein and critical vitamins and minerals, including, iron, zinc, and vitamins A,B, and D. Many Experts including the American Heart Association and most recently the US Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, recommend consuming at least two servings of seafood a week. And Gorton's is here to help you out. Not only do they have great tasting seafood, they also have recipes on their site to help you out.
