GoPicnic Review and Giveaway!

Oh Neighbors!

Here is a fantastic product for a road trip! It is called GoPicnic. They are ready to eat meals. But, not only are they convenient, thay are tasty and healthy. There are no trans fats, no high fructose corn syrup, and no added MSG! Now that makes them great! Not only are they convenient and easy to use, they are good for you. They come in the really neat little boxes and each item is individually wrapped and no refrigeration is required. I don't know how many times we have had to throw something out because all the ice melted in the cooler, or items that needed to be cold, but not wet, fell into the water from the melted ice. This is real convenience!

We received the Salami and Cheese ($4.99), which includes:
Old Wisconsin Salami Slices (Beef) .80z
Copper Cowbell Asiago Gourmet Cheese Spread
Late July Organic Classic Rich Crackers (6)
Sweet Perry Orchards Cashew Medley All-natural Fruit and Nut Mix
Late July Organic Dark Chocolate Sandwich Cookie
1 Plastic Knife for spreading the Cheese

The other GoPicnic meal we received was the Tuna and Crackers ($4.99). This one includes:
Lemon Pepper Tuna Spread
Crunch Master Multi-Seed Crackers (Gluten Free)
Sweet Perry Orchards All natural unsweetened Applesauce
Sweet Perry Orchards Trek Trio All-natural Fruit and Nut Mix
Terra Nostra Organic Robust Dark 60% Cacao
1 Folding (yes, I said folding) Spork

GoPicnic just introduced four all-natural and four deli meals that are pre-packaged and ready to eat.
The all-natural:
Peanut Butter and Crackers
Tuna and Crackers (Gluten Free)
Salmon and Crackers
Hummus and Crackers (Gluten Free, Vegan, and Kosher)

Classic Deli:
Salami and Cheese
Steak Nuggets and Cheese (Gluten Free)
Turkey Pepperoni and Cheese (Gluten Free)
Turkey Stick and Crunch (Gluten Free)

GoPicnic:
All GoPicnic meals contain no artificial flavors or colors and no trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup or added MSG. GoPicnic all-natural products additionally contain no artificial preservatives. Each meal is fewer than 500 calories, and five of the eight meals are gluten-free, making them easy and safe on-the-go meal options for campers with gluten sensitivity. Products are available in retailers as well as www.GoPicnic.com and www.Amazon.com. They perfect for on-the-go, traveling or lunch/camp. They easily fit in a backpack, suitcase or laptop bag.

Talk about a really useful road trip item. They are small. ready made, ready to use, no refrigeration required. Everything you need is in the box. You don't need to pack plastic ware, plates, etc. Napkins or wipes might be handy for clean up. I know we are discussing road trips here, but you can also use GoPicnic meals for a trip to the park, zoo, doctor's appointment, anywhere you or your child might need a quick snack.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
